Three Felonies A Day: How the Feds Target the Innocent
The average professional in this country wakes up in the morning, goes to work, comes home, eats dinner, and then goes to sleep, unaware that he or she has likely committed several federal crimes that day.

I bet you that's 5 felonies right there.

We went into Walmart today to get some cash off the card and something was going on because there were like 20 cops there talking to various people in the parking lot and we parked and were walking into Walmart and walked past several of the cops.

Both myself and my husband were vaping on the way in and a couple of the cops looked at us, checking out what was in our hands... That doesn't bother me.

In the early days of vaping it did though... I was always worried people would think I was doing drugs... lol

Early one morning one day, I backed out of my driveway on my way to work, when a cop pulled me over on the lamest excuse...while backing out I had crossed the line into the oncoming lane of traffic. This was at 4 am. There was no oncoming traffic. When he asked for my license and insurance, he asked if I ever been arrested for drugs. Ah, no. This whole time i was vaping. Bottom line was that he had seen a cloud in my car and thought i was smoking some other stuff. One disappointed small town cop didn't get to use his cuffs that morning.

Are you calling pot drugs or did you mean actual drugs? lol I used to worry they'd think it was a THC vape. I always figured I could get away with it by blowing a cloud at them. "Does that smell like THC or Cinnamon Danish Swirl officer?"

It won't be long before the Cinnamon Danish Swirl gets you in more trouble than the THC.

yes I consider whacky weed to be under the "drugs" category.

It's also the only forum section here I have on ignore... not judging, just not my thing and I disapprove vehemently of having that section on this forum.

Ok yeah just wanted to be sure what you were talking about, it's pretty uncommon to call it drugs these days. You'd never say "I was worried my wife was going to know I put drugs in my cup of other drugs" when you meant you were putting Bailys into your coffee.

Alcohol and Coffee I don't put into the drugs category... but I do call my prescription medication drugs - especially when I'm talking with my son because he laughs about my medicine having street value.. so we call them drugs all the time. Yep, I'm doing drugs again...

haha. we think it's funny anyway... lol

Yup. People will be smoking joints openly like we used to smoke cigarettes and we'll be vaping on the floor with the curtains drawn like people used to smoke joints.
    Happy Independence Day.

In Lexington, KY don't put ice cream in your pocket.
The challenge is there now. Next time I go to Georgetown to get my daughter, I'm stopping in Lexington for ice cream. I already embarrass her in public, usually without even knowing what I did, so she gonna love seeing me get a ticket for putting ice cream in my pocket. Oh, I can hardly wait lol. I'll get back to ya on this.

With the amount of laws on the books, I'm pretty sure everyone in the USA is at least a petty criminal and doesn't even know it.

If you look hard enough, I bet you'll find a law that says it's illegal for anyone to blink.

That's is statically what lawyers say... there are so many crimes on the books that is nearly impossible to have not broken at least one.

Up until relatively recently, some very interesting things (related to "oral fixation", I guess) were illegal in my state (CT).

I'm not sure how they might have enforced it, but I do know that I apparently got lucky more than just a few times back in the 70s. They always knocked on the windows but they also let us go, so there's THAT.

Had I known it was illegal at the time, of course I'd not have been...

Oh, never mind. Even I don't believe that for a second.
