I recently dropped from 24 mg to 6mg. Since then my personal vaporizer is in my hand all day long.
It's okay. I made up my mind that I wanted to go to 0 mg and it's best (for me) to get there as fast as I can instead of dragging it out for months on end.

When I get to 0mg of nicotine, I am 99% certain I will continue to vape. I liked smoking, I like vaping. Eventually my brain will get the message that vaping is something I like to do, not somthing that I must do.

My take on it is, if you vape all day and night, you are still better off and healthier than if you had smoked those 5 or 6 cigarettes like you used to do. Even though I have my PV with me all the time and it seems like I may be vaping more than I used to smoke, I'll bet for me it's a draw (no pun intended). 15 drags per cigs in an hour with tobacco or 20 - 25 drags an hour with the PV. I'm still waaaaaaaaaaaaay better off than using analogs. Don't worry about it.

Cheers!

I have been 13 days without an analog and even though my pv (pure VG @ 24 mg nic) is like a pacifier, I feel better than I have in a long time. I can walk up a flight of stairs and not be out of breath (even though i was considered fit as a smoker), no more wheezing or coughing. My sense of smell is back. I have a house full of fur-babies and was never able to smell the "dog" smell (yes, they are potty trained) until I had about 3 days analog free. I have done the vaping thing before and found that I was hyper sensitive to PG even straight VG with PG flavoring. I went off for a year. My hubby stuck with it and brought me back. As of now, I am only able to vape VG flavorless ( DIY), but I could not be happier.

I find myself vaping a LOT more than I used to smoke analogs. General rule of thumb is that too much of anything can be bad for you. How much is too much? I only used to smoke 5-6 analogs a day, but now I find myself vaping all day long. Makes it especially difficult with a bottle of Boba's on my desk :(

Send the Boba's to me and eliminate the problem!

Not sure that my body's definition of "too much" would be the same as yours. You didn't mention the nic level you are using, but maybe try a lower level if the volume you are vaping is a concern. Maybe some no nic - just to see if it's the nicotine or the flavor driving your use.

I had buy new low nic ejuice after getting several AFS3's...simply made it too enjoyable and easy to vape a LOT. To me, if it seems like an issue, it's time to look more closely.

i was vaping a lot when i started and was moving from analogs to e cigs... it seemed way more addicting as i was having to vape way more to satisfy a cig fix that could not be satisfied without an actual cigarette. i believe there are additives to an analog besides nicotine that are addictive. i was a pack, pack and a half a day smoker and have been free from smoking for 4 months now. since then i have gone from 24 mg to 18 mg and realized i enjoy the act of vaping so i do it more often just like smoking... i noticed that when i get a new toy or new liquid i get excited and a vape a lot but really i vape less than 3 ml a day now

I was similar to sosolidgold I smoked a about a pack to pack and half a day when I started vaping I was like this is good and then I found I could use flavored e-juice and I was like a kid with candy. I really liked smoking and because of the non issue with health when vaping I love vaping even more. I vape about 2-2.5 ml slowly all day long and I have droped from 24mg of nic to 16 mg of nic in like 4 months and some days I go several hours without even vaping and no cravings or going crazy over not having a analog. So I figure as long as I'm feeling better, not wheezing at night, and not coughing up my lungs I should be ok.

I have the same situation... When i first bought my e-cig I was still smoking about a half a pack a day. I would use the e-cig at night so my girlfriend wouldn't complain that i smell bad from smoking. After I discovered that you can put any flavor you wanted into these things I was hooked. I got Clove (my personal favorite) and I just discovered the other day that I love Cuban Cigar flavor. After I tasted the flavors, smoking regular cigarettes was just terrible, so I quit smoking and started vaping all the time. I vape 24 hours a day and I need two batteries and a PCC just to get me through the day. I feel no negative side effects except being a little dizzy if i vape for too long.

there is a definite difference between going without smoking for several hours and going without vaping for several hours for me. i would panic without smokes and sometimes i don't even notice i haven't vaped for a while. for example, i grew up traveling and spending long hours on airplanes... recently i went traveling with my ecig. as common courtesy, i don't vape on the plane or in the airports if im in close proximity to ppl. but really i didn't even notice as much as i used to go nutz... eating is another example, i used to need a stogy right after i eat and now i can wait. maybe the latter example may be maturity though

I've discovered that I also vape more then I smoked... the thing about it for me is, it's just so much FUN.. and it tastes sooooo good. Since my first vape experience on Oct. 5th 2010, I fell in love with it and went nuts with the credit card. I've amassed tons of flavors with a bunch more on the way. I'm also getting into DIY. I've got a gallon of PG, and a jug of VG, some nicotine juice, and some more flavor concentrate on the way. I LOVE this stuff and it seems I can't get enough. But hey, it's better than what I was doing (a pack of Camel Wides a day), and my wife isn't choking on second hand smoke. I'm feeling allot better. So I'm not too worried. I'm sure when the 'novelty' of it wears off I'll slow down a bit.. maybe :)

i really think its more about the oral fixation than it is about being more addicting. we need to pacify ourselves..... hehe im in agreement. up ur nic levels. i started out with8 and 11. found my self never putting this thing down and ordered 18. was really tired and still not feeling right in so many ways so on the recommendation of ppl in hear i ordered 24. those came today. im not saying that im sticking to this level. too soon to tell but i do know im not as jittery.
