I had my last cigarette on Monday evening and got out my vape kit that I bought a while back when I tried vaping once before and failed miserably :( but anyway I had some 3mg ejuice I had saved and put it in my aspire cleito along with my eleaf ipower mod. I have been vaping on that thing like an oxygen tank and had to fill my tank which holds 3.5 ml of juice twice yesterday. Is this a normal thing to go through when first vaping? Cause a pack of Pall Mall cigs would last me 3 days, I'd smoke half a cig and put it out and finish it an hour later. I'm not overloading myself on nicotine am I? The only thing I've been feeling is maybe a tension headache maybe because of my pulling technique when I inhale.

You might want to bump up the nicotine. Congratulations on putting down the smokes!

I thought about it cause I did try out some 6mg ejuice I had stored away but like i said I kinda went crazy with the vaping and got a bit light headed so I moved down to 3 and that kinda helped with the light headedness. Hopefully my body should adjust to the 3mg here soon and I won't vape as much as now lol

No. 3mg juice is the lowest content regularly sold and is for people on their way to quitting ecigs after quitting the stinkies. That is not where you are. I would go at least 6mg. Possibly higher. Who sold 3mg to a new vaper? That’s like asking for failure.

I'd bump up the nic level to 12, 3 certainly is way too low when just coming off the Stinkies. I myself was a pack and a half day smoker and I started with 18mg, the day I started Vaping was my last Stinkie.

12 gave me a massive headache from what I remember the very first time i tried vaping and not only that I like being able to taste things and having a 'full lung' sensation cause I guess it feels more relaxing to me lol

What works for you is the only right answer to the nic strength. Rest assured the chain vaping is not harmful.

I bought all my vaping stuff last year. Bought a few MTL tanks with some 12mg juice and a couple sub ohm tanks with 6 and 3mg juice. I tried to quit smoking using that stuff but failed miserably cause I was always around people who smoked constantly and that made me crave real cigs even more and I picked up the nasty habit again :(

Vaping is the crutch, not the cure. You will have to do some of the heavy lifting. Every cig you don't smoke is a win. Don't stress a few slip ups, just keep vaping.

Chain Vaping is Very Common when a person 1st Quits.

You have to remember that you don't get such an Immediate "Rush" of Nicotine when you vape. It is a Slower Process.

You also have to remember that you don't get such an Immediate "Rush" of all those Other Chemicals that are in Cigarette Tobacco. In fact, you Don't really Any of them.

I Firmly believe I was just as Addicted to those Added Chemicals in Cigarettes as I was to Nicotine. So when you switch, it can seem like an e-Cigarette is Not giving you everything that a Cigarette did.

I would Try going to 6mg/ml and see how that goes. I would Also suggest that you Drink A Lot of Water.

Water helps to Flush out your system. It also keeps you, Duh, Hydrated. Both of which are Good things when Quitting Smoking.

I chainvaped like crazy when I started, I think a lot of people do. I just vacantly chainvaped while learning more about vaping on here, and in misery through detox. It is 100% normal, and will subside over time.

Everyone's different with nicotine. I was a 3 ppd smoker chain vaping 12 mg in a cleto tank, I really don't recommend 12 m.g. It was... too much. I actually found MTL vaping a lot better (for me). But if you are liking 3 m.g. no need to change it and it should be enough.

Just try to schedule some distractions and stuff and put the vape down (consciously) from time to time, give yourself a break. The good news is cleto coils are long lasting, my kiddo used to run 240 ml through a single coil before changing it.

Over time, as you get rid of the other chemicals in cigarettes and your body adjusts, you will find yourself vaping less. I can go several hours now... With cigarettes, I usually wanted one about every 20 minutes, which is how I came to be a 3 ppd smoker.

Good luck, and hope it goes well for you.

3mg is a bit low for a new vaper. If you are very aware that your nic is low then just switch it up to a higher nic. If you are sub-ohm then I wouldn't go above 6mg personally. I'm still addicted to the nicotine 2/3 years on.

I've found that I've gone through 10-15ml in a day sometimes with a sub-ohm tank so quite normal but I chainvape like a train.

IMO, since you were only smoking 1/3 pack a day, and you said your 3mg curbs your cravings while vaping 7mL/day with no light headedness nor headaches...your body is telling you that you're doing great where you are!

I smoked about 1.5 packs a day for 42+ years, and got off them vaping nothing higher than 6mg eliquids. Many suggested that I should use 12-18mg, but I didn't need to, nor want to, go higher. I really liked the taste and smoothness of my eliquids at 6mg, and I had no ill effects from it no matter how much I vaped. Haven't even wanted a smoke since my last one in Jan. 2014.

Use whatever mg you like, that (1) works for you to stop the cravings, and (2) that your body also tells you it's toleratating well. You'll reach your goal if you'll stick with it.
