Well, he left the house to go to a buddy's and took his pv with him!! I don't know if that was just for the car ride over (about 45 min) or if he was planning on using it there, but hooray!

Hi Tracie. Hey the whys or whats, whos don't matter...he took it along. More importantly he's taking it to his buddy's place...you may very shortly have a number of converts visiting. Congrats

LOVIN' this story and we're so very happy for you, Craig and your son.

AND STOP THE PRESSES!!! My step father is 70+ yrs old and smokes 2 cartons of cigarettes a week... yes, TWO! I was telling my mother that Craig was doing really well with his pv and my step dad showed some interest!! I almost fell over! If I could convert him.. just wow!

Going back to look through this thread again for the most cigarette like option, cause I know a few people posted some in here.

YEA....AND YEA !!!!
and WOW - 2 CARTONS A WEEK

He might be a tough one to crack...
then again- he might love vaping !
but if you can ween him down to a PAD- that would be great.

He is going to need 'industrial' strength nic...like WTA- I believe it is called.

REALLY GLAD to hear Craig is taking (taking) to vaping !

Best to You (s) !

OK, finally figured out what my mother has been using. She lost her battery somewhere but still has a few boxes of cartridges left. Anybody know what threading this thing has?

The Green Puffer | Electronic Vapor Cigarette Smoke

He might be a tough one to crack...

Yes, I believe he will be a very tough nut to crack. He smokes incessantly. I'm convinced he must smoke in his sleep! lol I would love love love to get him to cut back (as would my mother) his health is becoming very poor, he rattles when he breathes, etc... He took a few hits off of my mom's thing up there and didn't care for it. I'm sure he'd be of the kind to go with something that is as close to cigarette like as possible, heck he's been smoking for 50+ yrs!! So, prefilled carts... where not as cost effective, would probably suit him best. I'm going to check into green smoke and the volt. Wish me luck!!

That on is gonna be tough if he needs it like a cigarette. Please tell me he doesn't smoke lights because that's just a waste of money IMO. At 2 cartons a week he'd need a big battery to not be switching them constantly which we know doesn't fall into that category. A cig a like with a higher nic juice to get him to slow down maybe but at this point he may not slow down and just overload the nicotine. If it doesnt slow him down hed be changing batteries and carts constantly and it'd be a hassle. That is going to be a challenge indeed. It may take some working with him with an ego type that someone has already and asking him "what about it doesn't work for you"

Hi Tracie and congrats on your Step Dad becoming interested...next stop will you become a Vendor? :D
Here's a pic of the Green Puffer below. The one on the left is a kr808 and on the right is a Green Puffer- maybe someone can ID it? In the meantime I'll keep on searching.

I talked to him some more about it last night and he chuckled when I used the words discreet and cigarette-like. He said it doesn't have to be something that looks just like a cigarette. So, BONUS! I told bd to bring his with him when he comes to pick me up tomorrow (stuck at my mom's due to weather). Now, if Starbucks had an e-cig my step dad would be allllllllll over that! lol

That's definitely a plus if an ego style will be workable for him because if he needs that constant hand to mouth the ego will be a much more convenient option

Probably just a pusher.... find me hanging out at bars offering patrons something that will really make them fly... and can do it IN the bar! lol

Now I not only LOVE this story but can really appreciate your sense of humor. Every time I come here always guaranteed a great chuckle. Thank you.

In my personal experience, the only good thing about greensmoke is that they honored their 30 day no questions guarantee. In fairness it was good enough for me to know I could quit smoking using ecigs. But with 1 DOA battery and 1 fail in 4 days, many doa carts, and short life of working carts, high cost of gear and finding ECF to educate myself, I quickly move on. V4L kr808s got me off analogs and I used them for months but didn't find bliss until I moved past them.

I have to laugh at my own vape budget. When I started vaping on jan. 27. I was thinking about all the money I would save. Hahaha flash forward and about 1000 bucks later. I got the vape bug bad. Gladly my wife doesn't care about hood much I spend on vape gear. She is just glad I am off the smokes!! Tracie I hope your man joins the leagues of us happy vapers!!
