haha sorry i mistook that a little bit ^^ i went through 4 1/2 cartons a month on average ._. $250 i love seeing that i dont spend nearly that much xD

I set up an excel document that automatically counts my days analog free, multiplies it by the cost of a pack of smokes and I also add in my vape purchases so I am tracking all of my expenses as I go and I have something to compare them to. Its very lopsided right now but it will reverse as time goes on. Even if I spend as much I still have to be doing better by not stinking like crap and I'm hopefully not killing myself as fast as I was lol

Same has happened to me. I quit analogs for vaping about a week ago. I'm new to this, but I'm not a pack a day smoker. A pack can last me about a week and a half. My smoking habit is more of a secret from my family, so I don't smoke Saturdays and Sundays. Nor at night. But since I started vaping, I smoke anywhere at anytime since there is no odor or anything. I love it honestly, and it does kill my anxiety for analogs. But what I am started to think is, vaping might start to cost me more than normal analogs. Only benefit I do see is that vaping does way less damage than analogs.

I'd say if you vape a lot then it might actually cost you more than analogs since you didn't smoke that much to begin with. Its still worth it in the long run for sure!
Good luck and keep it up!

Now you got me concerned I vape 3.2ml/24mg a day. I vape all day long can't put the thing down... Ordered some 18mg juice to cut it down a bit.

I stopped smoking years ago and started with something called snus Snus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia and snus is a lot stronger than cigs and most ppl use snus all day long like I did so now have stopped with snus and started with vape, I suppose thats why I vape so much.

Yeah, I'm not complaining about the cost at all. I have 2 tanks, a few liquids, a 5 pack of spare coils and 1 battery.
I know once I settle in it shouldn't exceed more than $50 a month tops. which is less than half of what I spent on analogs

Ahahaha ... yeah, good luck with that $50 monthly budget! Don't get me wrong, you can absolutely sustain your vape habit for even less than $50 a month, but with all the vape gear options, V2 this, 3.3 that, the average vaper cannot resist the overwhelming fun of VAPE MAILLLLLLL!!

You will have moments when you simmer down a bit with the spending, and then BAM! Next thing you know you're staying up all night doing price comparisons, watching youtube reviews, and reading feedback/tutorial threads on ECF for the lastest Top, Bottom, and Side Tri-coil Rebuidable Atomizer Mech Mod Hybrid that is powered by sunlight during the day, and a high current table lamp at night .... LOL.

I blew through my $30 a month budget like ... 14 orders ago :vapor: ... If we were all honest, our smoke free signature banners would read: 725 days smoke free, $4,800 saved, and $6,137.14 spent on new vape gear :toast: ... Happy Vaping :p

I hope not! Lol. I want to be content with my equipment and I am for now at least. It vapes great and I like the style and fit with my uniform so for me its about exploring flavors. I'm done with that for now as well. I'll stick to my watermelon and vanilla for now.

Yes, vaping is worth it. But, you may be vaping more than you smoked because of how the nic is absorbed into the body. With analogs, direct hit to the lungs and the smoke replaces the oxygen intake--the head rush. Vapor is absorbed thru the mouth, nose and throat and very little actually hits the lungs(when vaping correctly).
It like trying to get drunk. Whiskey being the analog, and ecigs the beer. Both will get you drunk, but one just takes more and takes longer.
So while you may think you are getting more nic than with analogs, you aren't really.

Just my two cents.
:)
And remember to drink, drink, drink(water that is....lol). Vaping dries you out big time.

This sound normal to me. Once I got a system where the batteries would last me all day I have been vaping almost constantly. I started with a 24MG and I am now down to the 11MG to 12 MG range. I have over a dozen different flavors loaded and ready to go, so I just change them out when I feel like it and keep on vaping. :) I haven't gone analog in over 3 months so as far as I'm concerned I'm way ahead!

Depending on the eLiquid you use, I do not feel this to be a problem at all. I make all my own juice as well as sell it online @ eMonkey Vapor I have gone days where I have blown through about 5ml of juice at 36mg/ml. The only time I can see it being a problem is if you feel that it is a problem. There have been numerous research studies done on the use of nicotine and other than the addictive properties of nicotine there are no negative side effects of its use. Also if you are getting your eLiquid from Virgin Vapor you might want to check us out, we offer all natural eLiquids at a better price/ml than they do.

it will always weigh in favour of vaping in the long haul anthonyjl ... I read a lot in the beginning and basically started with a $120 PV (cost of 2 cartons) ... 50 days later, I am mixing my own juice.

Even if the Provaranti reel you in ... vaping will still save you money :2cool:

I also started an excel doc to track my vaping expenses. I have a banner that shows my analog days and money saved. Right now, I am over on vaping by about $150 but that is because I'm experimenting finding what works for me and what juice I like etc. I think in the long run though, I'll probably be like you and spend less than $50 a month in juice and coils. I spent about $150/month in analogs

I noticed I vape a lot more on weekends since I don't have work to hold me back, and I vape instead of eating out of boredom and whatnot. I really was vaping too much -- the amount of nicotine was giving me headaches. So now I have low nic juices for the weekends and higher nic juices for workdays when I can only vape on lunch (or on the occasional bathroom break...). Your body will tell you when you've had too much nicotine, or if you're getting dehydrated, so (as everyone has already stated) I wouldn't worry too much about how much vaping is too much at this time.

I am not noticing the drying out at all. I hear PG is worse for that than VG is.

After I got my eVic vv/vw device with a smok DCT 6ml tank, I was vaping a tank(6ml) a day. I have slowed down, but I still find myself chain vaping sometimes. Glad my eVic is a passthrough, so I can vape while it charges. Good luck and vape on :vapor:

What in the world is a passthrough? I have heard that several times but not sure what it is.

I am new to all of this, analog free and vaping like a madman since last Monday.
So far this is keeping me off the smokes a lot easier than I thought it would and I am very pleased about this ( former pack a day guy)
My concern is I feel as if I am vaping too much, not that I am having any ill effects from it or whatever but I don't want to start either.
I am probably using 1 full mini pt2 a day of 100% VG from virgin vapor @ 18 MG nicotine. Does anyone think this is heading down a bad road or am I ok? I just know I was smoking several in the a.m. and then leveling off to about 1 an hour but with the vape I feel as if I am constantly stoking it.....its just so convenient and tasty!

LOL, you're vaping one mini a day? there are guys in here who vape 10 ml a day with no problem.
