I did the unthinkable for a vaper, and it was mainly my stupidity. I went back to cigs just to see how much different vaping really, really is, and wow. So I smoked the exact same way I vaped, and I noticed it took me 4 to 5 cigarettes to have the equivalent of 4 puffs off of my provari. So, vaping does deliver nicotine in a much safer way, and I feel it is more effective than cigarettes. Plus, I cannot get the awful taste out of my mouth. Does anyone else notice this? I tried smoking my old favorites, the Marlboro Reds, and I vape 18 mg 80PG/20VG?

The nice thing to know is, unlike quitting smoking the old-fashioned way, you're much less likely to end up getting completely back into smoking. People I know who quit cold turkey or with some other stop smoking aid--if they have one cigarette, they'll eventually end up smoking full time again. I was able to quite for a while and vape only--when the urge just got too strong, I smoked 1-2 smokes for a couple of weeks (vaped the rest of the time), and when the pack was gone, got right back to vaping exclusively. And it's easy (for me) to not think about cigarettes now.

Willing to accept monetary offer$ for me to try a cig. Haven't had one since my first vape, over two years ago. Also have no desire whatsoever to try one! Why even go 'dere'?!?!?

BTW, ya better have very, very, very deep pocket$! All proceeds would go to Wounded Warriors if I 'crumble'...

Better yet, whatever amount anyone would be willing to tempt me with, just send your 'bet' to da WW project!

If a person were to try a cig after being "smoke free" xxxx days, do they have to reset their sig counter?

:)

Seriously though, do those count?

I took mine down. Quit March 30, made it 3 weeks and then when I smoked 10 cigs in 2 days, I felt a little like a fraud with that counter in my sig. Still, it wasn't the 40 I would have smoked before.

But I don't think the 1 smoke every few weeks or months should count, personally

Some of us aren't so lucky or have as much grit --I sure wish I could've said "started to vape and never looked back". :)

Every now and then I want I cig so I smoke one. Luckily it is from the last pack I bought last year so the cigs are stale as hell and taste disgusting. I might enjoy a fresh smoke but I refuse to buy a new pack until I finish my last pack which will never happen because they are terrible. I have 16 left in my year old pack that I keep in my car so they get extra stale.

i don't count it lol

a cigarette every once in a long while is not gonna hurt you unless you have that type of personality where completely relapsing is a possibility

Sorry, didn't mean to sound boastful; just ever sooooo grateful!

Hang in dere! Once ya get past da 'bakky urge, it's all a grand cruise.

Don't worry, I'm not hurt. I do think it helps people to know that if they're having a hard time, it's normal. Not everyone is able to just drop the smokes. I thought I was one who did...I found out I was wrong. It is what it is--I think I'm there now, if not close.
