hahahaha being drunk lowers your inhibitions...it doesn't wield a magic power to suddenly change someone, merely bring the hidden to the surface. Like the all classic, "I cheated on you, because I was drunk." Chances are the person secretly had desires to cheat, and the alcohol made it easier. None of this really pertains to you.
You mentioned you enjoyed smoking with your friends when you drink. Cigarette smokers have unique subculture of their own as do vapers. Perhaps, the fact that the rest of your friends are smoking while you are vaping is what's getting to you. Maybe your desire to be apart of the group is more prevalent when you are intoxicated. If that's the case, I would get some cool pv's and get them vaping.
They have pv's that are pipes that look really cool.
Also, your mood affects the way things taste. That's why some people who are depressed can't eat, or eat too much. I imagine mood would affect vaping the same as it affects all the other senses.
So as suggested previously, it's either," all in the mind," or you need some different juices or pv's.
