I'm new to the whole vaping scene, having only switched over 8 days ago, but very happy I made the transition.

I have a female colleague at work who is keen to try vaping, but is looking for a set-up more elegant than my iStick 20W / nautilus Mini kit.

She is looking for a analog replacement system, not a cloud maker, and compact would be key.

Can any of you suggest a good beginners set up with variable volts / watts, that is very compact and elegant?

I feel like I want to suggest something very similar to my set up, as I'm so happy with it, but she is looking for a slightly more chic look.

She isn't price sensitive, and is looking for maximum convenience, in a compact package, with the best possible look (for a lady).

System names would be useful, but picture I could show her would be best.

I wouldn't exactly call any of the box mods "elegant". If you want a compact and elegant looking device, but powerful at the same time, I would say the eGo One. With the 1100 battery it is really small. I am not aware of you being able to adjust the volts/watts on it though. I believe it is preset based on whether you have a 1 ohm coil, or 0.5 ohm coil on it. The Provaris are really pretty tube mods, but pricey for what you get, but you do get to adjust the voltage. The Provari will be bigger than say an eGo One.

If price is no object...

The SX Mini:

If that price makes her gasp then the IPV2 Mini:

Be aware that both of those minis will still be larger than your iStick.

If that price makes her gasp then it's either the iStick or a Vision Spinner setup.

Thank you Jseah - Just looked at the eGo One and it certainly looks more like a design that may appeal to her. I'll have to read up on it to see what it's limitations are. Is is carto based? Can you get a good range of vape flavours through carto's these days?

Again the Provari looks like it has a form factor she may prefer to the iStick, but it still may not be quite chic enough for her, and once you add a tank I believe it is quite long, which could be an issue.

Dear me.

Everyone is slacking today.

If it has to be VV/VW and elegant, then a VV/VW iTaste battery by Innokin with a nice Aspire K1 or mini GS air tank.

Innokin do elegant. :)

(Shame about Kanger....)

What's wrong with Kanger? I really quite like my Subtank Nano on my Ego One battery. And the K-Box is elegant... enough... in its own boxy way... kind of... ;)

Seriously, though... I know I'll get some crap for this but I have to put it out. Blu has their new Plus system that has received great reviews online with the exception of value. Look up Youtube video reviews... they're all good but all complain about refill prices. If price, as you stated, really isn't an issue, maybe have her look into it...

One of my ladies is very fashionable, so wouldn't be caught dead with a gaudy box mod. I got her a Vapor Couture kit for when she's out and about, and ProVape-1 for home use-

Shop For Vapor Cigarettes from Vapor Couture

ProVape no longer makes the PV-1, unfortunately...

Believe it or not, some people get by just fine without VV/VW...

Something else to consider is the mAH size of the actual battery and how much she will vape.

If the mod has an internal battery, I would get a car charger or extra wall charger for work. If the batteries are replaceable, getting a charger and an extra battery would be helpful.

Also, if she is moving from analog cigs, a spare system. Definitely.

Good luck!

Virgin Vapor has Ego style batteries available on their website in dozens of dressed up varieties from embossed foil to animal skin prints. Vape Royalty has bling batteries adorned with faux gemstones. Not sure if either choice qualifys as elegant but they are certainly not run of the mill. Both sites have VV versions.
