Would you vape in another room with a 7 month old in the house?

In another room, you mean a room away from your babies? Good question. Maybe during naps or bedtime.

I wouldn't think you'd be sub-ohming, or so into the gear that it would be distracting from giving them your full attention.

BTW - congratulations on your blessings.

Funny how these forums work; oppertunities for otherwise useless knowledge.

While doing the dishes, I began to wonder if there were any transference of "second hand nicotine" from vaping during nursing.

According to one article I read regarding the halflife of nicotine in the body, if a person smokes over a pack a day, it was cautioned to not nurse within an hour beforehand.

I don't know, I formula fed. I didn't smoke or vape while pregnant, though. I would have a couple of sips of beer from time to time while pregnant, though. Parenting has gotten to be something that everyone, especially people without kids, like to judge about. When I was pregnant I had people judging me for eating deli meat. A woman from an online parenting group called child protective services on me because I began sleep training when my son was a few months old (allowing the baby to cry for brief periods of time between comforting at night, to encourage them to self-soothe and learn to go to sleep on their own). Ironically, the cop that came out thought the whole thing was insane and she was in the process of sleep-training her son. It's gotten ridiculous.

I don't have kids (well, the 2-legged kind - I have furbabies) My cat is laying right next to me and I'm vaping. I used to smoke with her next to me (but I quit smoking in the house about 3 years ago. Been vaping for about a year now.) I don't blow vapor directly at her (at least not intentionally )

If they're down for naps or sleeping at night, I personally don't think that should be a problem - especially if they're in a different part of the house. If you're concerned about it, don't do it.

As long as you are not filling the room with vape I think it would be fine.

This forum has rules about talking about certain things... So lets say I used to have roommates that ate green "candy" When they ate a lot of green "candy" I would feel like I had eaten green "candy" Yet when they ate the green "candy" in their own room I would not feel the 2nd hand effects of the "green" candy.

Same goes for vaping. I vape 3-6 nic. When the room is filled with 3-6 nic I do not feel any different. Yet in a room filled with 18 nic I sometimes get a head rush.

Thanks for everyone's thoughts on the matter. I wouldn't dare do it with my babies close to me I thought maybe going in the bathroom on the complete other side of the house to vape when they were put down to bed was questionable and wanted other opinions. I've smoked on my front porch since day one and don't mind continuing it was curiosity.
