I have vapor envy!

Sitting at the train station this morning waiting for the train enjoying my cheap kit (ENCORE, bought at a small tobacco Store) and I see a guy near me also partaking. With the smallest draw on his device he produced a HUGE cloud of vapor. I was envious! Didn't get a chance to ask him what device he was using.

So tomorrow I am gonna hit Flavor Vapor and upgrade my kit. Any advice?

So far I've learned that big clouds depend on quite a few factors. First is the coil, a dual, or lower ohm coil with 15+ watts will help. The wick, triple silica or a nice cotton wick will help. VG/PG juice in the right balance seems to help as well. A nice airy draw from your tank/drip system will also help. Maximize those, and you're obscured in clouds.

I'm waiting on some spools of kanthal and a bag of organic cotton to start chasing some clouds. Happy vaping!

Big clouds to me are less important than good flavor. I will admit I do love really good equipment. That is when I have a vape envy problem. Well thats my

Reseach before you buy.

A device with VV/VW (variable voltage/variable wattage will give you the ability to produce big clouds with little effort. When I moved up from my eGo that was fitted with a protank 2 mini to a VV/VW the difference was vast. One 2 second mouth to lung toke produced more vapour than a full 10sec direct lung toke on my old setup. Ive tried the protank2 mini on the VV/VW and that now gives big clouds as well just not quit as good flavour as the iclear30s that came with the VV/VW device.

I wouldn't jump straight in at the deep end and get mech mod and rebuildable attomizer yet as these take time to learn how to do.

I would look at something like the Innokin MPV 2 and a decent clearomizer tank, to satisfy your need to upgrade.

Even with me living in U.K. and paying shipping this would work out cheaper than anyting I could find here.

I'm going to go against the grain and say dive in....with all your safety vests strapped on. That means mech mod, multimeter, good batteries (I'll say Gronys (Green Sony VTCs...just because), enough YouTube video watching that you can transcribe them, enough forum reading that you feel you have a personal relationship with some excellent posters and patience. It's not as bad as someone people make it out to be. You just can't be stupid about it. Know that all you are doing is creating a hot coil and heating a cotton soaked wick by connecting the positive and negative points on a battery. Before, you had a chip that prevented you from doing something stupid. Now, you have a brain full of knowledge that is preventing you from doing something stupid. I believe that with the knowledge and forums that are out there now, unregulated mech mods aren't scary.
Batteries and multimeters though. Seriously. Know what ohm your build is or even what ohm the build is from the shop that made you one. If you researched and still have a question, then ask before you dive in. But, like I said before, dive in safely.

To start id suggest an MVP2 the variable voltage is great, and for a tank a Nautilus, thw adjustable airflow will help, more airflow more vapor, less airflow more flavor. These options can help you find what works best for you, but you have to feel comfortable using it.

Get a good dependable vv/vw device first. MVPs as others have stated is a gr8 choice for the first one. Upgrade to a better tank. You will be amazed at the difference. Then after you have a gr8 dependable device then you can go for giant clouds if you like. I run a Seven22 with a Kayfun 3.1. Built my own coil with 28g K1 with 10 1/2 wraps wicked with cotton.1.2 ohms. Huge clouds but not all the time do I want them huge clouds. My go to device remains a SVD with a Rocket rebuildable with a 30g 5 1/2 wrap for a 1.5 ohms. Half the cloud as my Seven22 but it is nice daily vape in which I prefer. Big clouds has a cost of using twice the amount of juice u use. At this time I have no intensions of getting into sub ohms as I see no need of it as I am plenty happy with where I am now. CHEERS!

An Average hit, I think they say, Anologs you get around 11% of the nic when you inhale and Vape gives you around 80% when you take a vape.
I am sure that varies on how and how much you inhale.
And I am sure if I am wrong someone will let ya know.

But all I am just trying to say, if your going to go with a Bigger cloud you want/need less nic. Vape Safe

You may well be right. When I got my VTR and went to sleep that night I remember only getting 4 hours and not being able to fall back to sleep again. maybe the higher nic level I had be on all that day was acting as a stimulant.

Yep. Vapour = liquid. If you get more vapour you use more liquid. If you use the liquid you get the nicotine. So if you get more vapour, you get more nicotine... and a higher liquid bill too.

I'm seriously considering dropping from 18mg/ml to 12 right now. I like getting a nic-hit, but with RBAs and a decent power device, it is starting to be a little too easy to get one.

+1 for MVP 2's. Much longer battery life and still small enough to be portable. I bought one a week ago, then went right back and bought another.

I also bought a Nautilus and Aerotank, and agree that they are good for flavor and adjustable airflow. Even the Aspire ET-S BDC has better flavor than top wicking tanks I've tried in a nice portable tank.

I made the move a few days ago to the HCigar Kayfun 3.1. With a quick lesson at the B&M, and all the info here and vids on YouTube, I've already built my first coil. The flavor is amazing. The vapor is massive with little effort. You can adjust airflow. It's a lot cheaper to rebuild versus cartridges. But they do use more juice. And you do get more nic.
