vapor film!!

Gunk used to make a really great window cleaner in an aerosol. It was the only thing that could take cigarette tar off windows (without breaking an arm). Need to find some my self....husband decided to smoke in my car

Hm...I haven’t noticed anything in my car - both hubby and I vape like crazy in there.

I too wonder if a film will appear in house or car. When I was a smoker I stopped smoking inside because of the film residue that appeared. Havent noticed anything yet but could take more time.

I have not noticed vapor film any place, but I may not be vaping the same stuff. It's a long shot, but what do you vape? Always good to ask to eliminate the odd ones out there (vape not you)

You keep a clean car, eww you other peoples, yes if you vape in a closed up or often in your car it will develop a vaping film.
Soap and water works best, cleaners only smudge it, it is an oil based film.

I used these a lot Sanitary Silicone Tip for e-cigs - Share Without Fear!
because it kept the heat away from my lips and after awhile I noticed that they would discolor and left
an UN-cleanable film/stain inside.

I showed all the new "VAPERS" (family & friends) and we all agreed that we thought
there was supposed to be no residual left from vapor... ? (wonder what's in my lungs)

But that said, vaping in house and in car no film anywhere to report...

I have it on the windshield of my truck and I'm sure it's on my computer monitor; nice that it isn't yellow. Higher vg seems to cause more film.

Some juices leave a film, I don't notice so much on the car windows, or house windows, but I have to clean my glasses more than when I smoked. It makes sense to me, they're right next to my vape hole.

People that vape high VG have reported film.

Thats possibly it, higher vg develops a film faster than pg based juices. I vape vg/pg 80/10/10distil 50/50 60/40 70/30 all depending on what flavor I diy.
I always have a film on my SSmetal drip tip with any % e juice vendor or diy, its not as noticeable on delrin or acrylic drip tips until a good long soak..

Its there you guys its a clear transparent residue until messed with then it may smudge. There's already been a few posts about here..

I have always been sure that there was some PG/VG residue left in the lungs. However, I am also pretty sure it breaks down a LOT easier than the tar from cigarettes. This is why vaping still allows all the gunk from analogs to eventually clear out of the lungs. If the vape film didn't break down and come right off, then it would coat the tar making it harder to come out.

I am not a Dr. and do not know this for sure. This is just my current hypothesis.

Ya I clicked this thread thinking the same thing kind of disappointed.
Oh well no film to report of here but I'm only going on 2 months. I usually vape at least 50% vg though sometimes as high as 80% so time will tell.
