Bad news my first flask has been going strong but I ordered 2 more (1 black and another silver) and both have the same problems they don't give the low battery warning when the batteries reach 3.2 volts.

The only way you know that something is wrong is you can see the mod throttling the wattage back from what you have it set to when in wattage mode. I checked both battery voltages and low and behold they were below 3.2v.

thats not great but not a big deal really right?!? I swap mine out long before they get to 3.2 anyway and on a dual 18650 mod, that is still a lot of vapetime. Still, a bug is a bug and good to make people aware of it so thanks for the heads up!!

IMO all of my TC and VW boxes switch off to early. 3.3V or 3.2V is far to high and wastes a lot of mAh. F.e. discharging the 25R with 5A and switching off at 3.0V instead of 3.3 gives 500mAh extra. At a 20A discarge there is a win of 900mAh.

Dicodes offers the possibility to select the shut off voltage.

This is what I used to think as well. But then I got the Dicodes, which has a configuration for minimum voltage. "Awesome!" I said, "finally I can really use all my battery." I started out setting it to 2.7V, but now I have it set to 2.5V. And when I take my battery out of the mod, it has not less than 3.1V in it, sometimes 3.2V. Exactly the same as all my other mods.

The problem is voltage drop. When I set my Dicodes to a minimum of 2.5V, it will say Low Battery when the voltage ever shows <=2.5V - that includes the voltage after voltage drop, not the resting voltage.

During vaping - especially at 30+W and doubly especially when the battery has low charge - the voltage drop/sag can be huge. At the start of the battery life, it is small. Eg 4.2v resting voltage, dropping to 4.0 or 4.1v under load - a voltage drop of 0.1-0.2V But by the time you get down to 3.1V, it is dropping down to 2.5V or even 2.4V under load - a voltage drop of 0.6 or 0.7V.

So now I understand why all these mods stop around 3.1-3.2V. It's because a battery at 3.1 - 3.2V is dropping to 2.5 or even lower under load, and 2.5 is the minimum you are ever meant to take an 18650 down to.

I was really disappointed, I was sure my Dicodes was going to get me hundreds more mah than my other mods. But I understand now why it can't.

ok so mine doesnt! It just wastes away. Took out the batt and it 3.12 or something but it wasnt hitting at all anyway. So the the Buck circuit isnt great either...

I sold my Waidea V3 last night and ordered an IPV 4 today...
I have both ..IPv4 has superior TC ..but it just doesn't feel as nice in the hand as the flask. If someone put the IPv4 chip in a flask it would be the .... . I sure someone has already or at least thought of it but ya . IPv4 just doesn't feel as solid

Hi guys. I got the SXK 60w black flask from ft like 2 weeks ago. I has been working well and I really love it. However, 2 days ago I realised I couldn't screw in any of my Atty all the way down. When I screw in any atty, even before it bottoms out, it will reach a certain point before it starts auto firing.

At first it wasn't really an issue but just yesterday my atty somehow tighen itself to the mod and autofired in my bag.

Please help if you guys can. Tell me if you need anymore details.
