On the 17track website, mouse over the Translate box, then look at the translated text, see if you see a 09:05 entry that reads "Shenzhen, left the treatment center and sent to USXXXX". (XXX being the airport code)

If so, it's in the container, and more than likely already on the ground by now in the US waiting on Customs clearance.

I'm going to assume the US SFOF is San Francisco?

Yep, SF...they basically go through 3 customs hubs these days from China...SF, Chicago, and NYC.

Once Customs has it, there's no tracking info until they release it to the USPS, hence the status staying at "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment" for quite some time. Once the USPS has it, i'll be treated as First Class Air Mail and will move fairly quickly.

Keep in mind they ship this with hundreds or thousands of other items in a single container and the container needs to be filled to maximum capacity before it leaves China, so that can add a delay if they're waiting for a full load. There's a slim chance it's still sitting in Shenzhen waiting for a full load, but I doubt it, with the shipping rush to get everything out before CNY I doubt there's any containers languishing, though there may be a shortage of flights for the volume they're doing this week, but I wouldn't worry too much about that either, they usually increase the number of scheduled flights this time of year to compensate.

Once the container is full, it's loaded on the plane, with all of the items inside listed on a single manifest. That means it can sometimes take Customs days to go through and match the manifest with goods shipped when the container arrives, and of course more delays as they inspect items in that container. Customs isn't really on the clock, they can take as long as they want, though it's usually in their best interest to get the stuff on the way quickly.

TL;DR: There's a good chance you'll see it this week if Customs is on the ball, but don't get too freaked out if your status doesn't change for several days.

Thanks Croak Been here before but not with this vendor. I don't recall this kind of tracking with fasttech. I had ordered a couple of Hana clones for my grown boys (didn't want to buy originals just in case they wouldn't use them) in mid November for Christmas. That one order took almost six weeks. I was hoping this wasn't going to be a repeat. Hopefully it won't be.

Amen to that- mine has been in the black hole- looks like it is clearing customs. It has been there from the 9th apparently. Hope to see it flip out of customs sometime in the next day. Fresh batteries, Billow RTA ready to go!

Sorry to hear that hun I know how much you wanted this before your trip .. Well at least you have something to look forward to when you get back. My shipments out of China have not been that fast lately either. I have had the Subtank Mini and Nano in acceptance since 1/29, it would usually be here by now. Its not even in the states yet.

In other news, I canceled my Waidea Flask sample on Sunday night after yet another missed ship date. Summer continues to give me the same answer over and over, so I am done and out. Not sure if I care anymore especially since I have a very good working TP Flask in the Kangxin. Its still working flawlessly for me, and I am quite happy with it.

Be sure to say goodbye to me before you go Hun.

In other news, I canceled my Waidea Flask sample on Sunday night after yet another missed ship date. Summer continues to give me the same answer over and over, so I am done and out. Not sure if I care anymore especially since I have a very good working TP Flask in the Kangxin. Its still working flawlessly for me, and I am quite happy with it.

Thought you were in for the long haul & were gonna see it through to the end! Hope my frustrations with Summer didn't rub off on you & make your decision for you!

I imagine he will be in touch with you anyway when he finally gets his ..... together & produces the final product! Glad to hear you are happy with the Kangxin especially since I have had one stuck in SHENZHEN EMS for 5 days now. Enjoy!

Nice find Croak! He even has the problem in his build with the soft nickel wire we are being sold being soft. I cured the annealed nickel by twisting two 30g wires together for hardness. This equates to one stand of 28g nickel. But in my dreams, it has more surface area. I have been able to re-wick my first coil 10 times. I blew the coil when I tried to clean two tanks of TFA clear coffee deposits off with water and firing the coil. One side turned red and the coil became weak there and the cleaning wasn't working. Next twisted coil of 30g was a winner. It has me punching 5 Japanese cotton slices though it without pain. This is all being done on a Kayfun v4 tobeco clone. I don't like the gurgling I am getting after 4 hours or less. Using the kayfun clear blow isn't cool for me. This is my first kayfun.

The real question is if Tpat591 who directed me to the place to buy this bad boy, ever got to the place of the product he wished to buy?

The mailing failure is really bad. To make you feel better when you get your device, look at the original VF and then look at the one you recieve. The one you get has the screen well balanced between the sides. That is because the 510 connection side is a full 22mm and the screen side is a proper size to balance the screen between the sides unlike the original VF.

I stupidly took Summer from Waidea's word & promises to heart for way too long. After he missed 2 promised delivery dates just as 3Fvape came out with the usb charging version, I had 3F just send the Kangxin & cancelled the Waidea. The wait was just too much to keep trusting Summer after he proved so unreliable. As soon as I saw Nikki's pics, I gave up!

My longing to have a DNA 40 for so long resulted in me ordering a Hana DNA40TC, the Vapor Flask V3 DNA40TC w/usb, & the Vapor Shark rDNA40TC none of which have been received. The Hana did just clear through ISC NEW YORK NY(USPS) this morning but all else has been tied up in customs & the rDNA40 hasn't even shipped yet. If I can just stop tracking these things & put them out of my mind, they will get here soon enough. I'm Hoping the VS rDNA40TC gets out of China before CNY begins!

Of course I still have a Subtank & Subtank Mini from FastTech that shipped on 1/27 that is still tracking back to BEIJING EMS, CHINA so my luck with shipping lately hasn't been wonderful.

I am just sitting here sucking on an Egip w/ RBA Base living vicariously through your reports & I am so glad you all seem to be so pleased with the units you have received!

Sorry about everyone's frustration. It seems, in my experience, that 3Fvapes has been pretty reliable. They did switch my order from non USB to USB and still completed the order before CNY. I've been kind of impatient and feel bad for that from what I see on the forum. I realize I probably shouldn't be that selfish!

Mine was in the black hole since the 9th of this month and this morning I got happy email:

"Your item departed our USPS facility in SAN FRANCISCO, CA 94128 on February 12, 2015 at 3:04 am. The item is currently in transit to the destination".

All in all, not a bad wait at all. Hopefully it will be in Texas by Saturday!

When you think about it we are lucky that these things are getting though at all considering they are essentially hollowed out metal canisters full of switches, wires, electronic board etc. Thank god they are not getting destroyed in customs!
