what are the best button top protected batteries for this unit including brand and model number?

You shouldn't use protected batteries of any kind in this or any other regulated mod (or mech mod either, not safe chemistry nor high discharge). The protection circuitry might interfere with the circuitry of the mod. LG he2s and Samsung 25rs are good, though I'm not sure if any of them are available in button top.

Considering the output from China I hope the hundreds of millions Chinese have a great new year. Sometimes I wonder how spoilt us westerners are Happy year of the goat to everyone!

I tried getting a Vaporflask TP from 3 different retailers in China ordered from Focalecig beginning of Feb maybe we just need to pay up and stop being so cheap hahaha!

Does anyone know who makes this clone I have ?

Intresting, it has the genuine looking 510. Completely smooth with one air channel lining up with the air channel on the mod its self

Well, the top screws are not genuine and the chip readout is the clone. Love to find who is packaging this up....unless it is the standard with an aftermarket 510.

Well I don't know about the display but your are right about the top screws they are not all messed up from a using a drill motor to install them like the real Vapor Flask.

I have noticed the screens on the genuines seem (sometimes) wonky i'm definatley not paying £250 for a mod with a wonky screen.

That's already been brought up, simple matter of adjusting a screw inside the battery tube so the battery makes contact.

As I found out, it will use ONE, if only ONE is connected...you have to adjust the screws inside until the lower cover caps no longer bottom out, indicating that it is holding the battery.
