OK, after 4 months of on and off vaping and 2.5 solid ones with only 2 analogs, I've evolved into a rebuilder and I finally ordered some expensive gear, including the blackout flask last night. When it arrives here - hopefully on Thursday - it will join an authentic Squape R, a KFL+ v2, a Lemo Drop, a Tobeco K4 and 3 isticks...
On a related note... what is vaping doing to me?! Wasn't it supposed to be cheaper than smoking? :D
No regrets though... Except for turning into a mail guy stalker. Right now, I've hit F5 about 17 times in the past 2 hours... FL to NJ shouldn't take that long, damnit. :p

I'm using a cyclone but the deck is tight for nickel....is the chalice more roomy?

(sent from an alien device which translates English into Klingon without my approval)
Well, they are both 14mm diameter RDAs.

However, the Cyclone uses the center post for the bottom feed where the Chalice doesn't. This allows both posts to be placed on the outside edge of the Chalice giving a larger gap between posts. The other difference is that the Chalice's posts are offset from center giving you more room on one side.

So I would say, yes, the Chalice gives you more room but we're still talking about a 14mm RDA so it's still kind of tight.

My previous image was a 7/8 spaced wrap of 30g nickel around a 2mm mandrel. It's currently ohming out to .22Ω.

KY. That is a gorgeous combination.

Thanks! I'm really happy with it. This particular combination is something I've been working on getting together for some time now...the only thing missing was the beautiful blue VaporFlask. Preston and the folks at VF made it all happen :)

Hey folks, does anyone know the official way to contact Vapor Flask? I left a private message on their FB page, but I'm not getting a reply.

My down button "auto-fires", so the device went down to 1W/showing the serial number on its own, and there seems to be no way to fix it. I don't know if this is the physical button - I suspect it's not as it's still clicky - or the board. I had seen similar reports before. Anyway, in this state the device is useless, so I need to get it fixed. Vaping at 1W leaves to be desired... Pushing the up button does nothing or if pressed long enough just locks the power - indicating that the down-press us permanent. Removing batteries does not fix it - even for longer periods.

I would be grateful for any pointers.

Send a FB PM directly to Preston Kight. Preston is the VF CSR, and he's a great dude to deal with. There's also a VaporFlask Owners Group you can join on FB where you can get contact info as well.

@ WideO - That is the approach that worked for me. I just PMed Preston and he took it from there.
