Interesting. Sunday night my battery indicator was at 75% when I plugged it in and went to bed. 7 hours later and it was still red when I woke up but the indicator was at 100%. Maybe I'll leave it plugged in longer next time. Still, it seems like the light would have been green after that time. When you say it takes a long time for the light to turn green do you have an estimate?

I'm loving this mod and would hate to RMA it over something so small, especially if it is not overcharging my batteries.

Thanks for the quick response.

Im not quite sure, I take the batteries out to charge if i drain them lower.I will put it on charge now until the green light comes on them take the batteries out and check the voltage for you though.

Thanks for the offer but don't go through the trouble if you haven't already. However, you gave me the great idea to take the batteries out, charge them, check the voltage after charge, put them back in the Flask and see if the green light goes. That will be easy enough to do and I don't know why I didn't think of that in the first place. Probably because the batts were such a tight fit I wasn't planning on taking them out until they needed replacing.

Well my question was if the light turn green when the Flask is done charging. This is to prevent overcharging of the batts more than anything else. With two 2500mah batts in parallel, a charge last a ridiculously long time. If the light on my Flask doesn't turn green, I'm fine with it as long as it stops putting energy in the batteries when they reach maximum voltage. The experiment I'm doing now will only determine if the light turn green, not the total charge the Flask will put in the batteries. I'll try to find the Flask's charge after this.

Give me Greek or EU quality! I wouldn't touch an American made car if you gave it to me. However I highly doubt vape gear is made with Union labor so I can't say that's why the quality sucks.

Try Super T Manufacturing for amazingly made American mods. Shop full of highly skilled perfectionists. Their blems put most other modders regular stock to shame.

Edit - I won't touch an American made car either...

Thanks coolercoiler! I have my LG HE2s on my Pila now. Once they're done and I let them sit for 30 minutes, I'll throw them in the Flask, plug in the charge cord and see if the light turn green. Will post my findings.

Edit: Charged the batteries to 4.20 volts on the Pila, plugged them into the Flask and the red light is still on. Don't know if just the light is defective or if the Flask is actually still trying to pump energy into the batts. Everything else is working so well on this mod, including TC, that I don't know if I actually want to RMA it. It's only 2 weeks old so I have some time to decide. I'll probably email VF at some point to see what they think?

Does anyone have a tugboat v2 on their vaporflask? I own a V1 tugboat and it fits nice, but have learned that the V2 tugboat has a very long center post and doest not fit flush on all mods...I really want to try a V2, but really only if it fits flush.

does not fit flush with an authentic tugboat v2 on the flask, approx 1mm gap. Annoys me enough to keep it off the flask

I do that intentionally with all my atties to prevent scratching the anodizing on the top. Gaps don't get my OCD going but scratches do. All you have to do is seek medical help to change the focus of your OCD. ;)

I have mechanical OCD , Square , level, flush , parallel is a must. I kind of like cosmetic wear and tear on things, If i havnt used it enough to wear then i havnt had enough use out of it and that annoys me too. :)

Cooler,

Now that you put it that way and reminded me I have the acceptance for some wear and tear as long as it is not me that does it. "Go-Figure". But as long as the 1mm gap is square/level no problem. I have one or two atties that sit at a very slight angle and it drives me nutz (I know not a drive just a short put). Lets get off this subject before I think of another OCD problem that I have managed to burry. :D
