TC is working great! I think its up to me to put a good build on though. I've adjusted some of my expectations in terms of volume of vapor and warmth as I dial in my builds. I notice I have to cater to the composition of my juices. The pow I was getting on my low kanthal builds at high watts was undoubtedly an unhealthy vape. I have also bumped my nic from 3 to 6 with TC at the moment.

You know it's too bad that the Flask got 2 big black eyes because of the screen glitches and battery issues that many got stuck with. But I got my Flask at the beginning of this year and all I can say is I absolutely love it. But I've had none of those issues that others had, so my experience has been amazing. As it should have been for everyone. This thing is awesome with Kanthal but I only use nickel, tempered nickel mind you ;) I haven't used anything but nickel on my Flask for months. It preforms flawlessly with temp protection like it should. There was a learning curve the first few weeks for sure, but once I knew which atty's to use and ones to avoid and learned about tempered nickel, I've never looked back.

If they can start getting devices out that don't have those quality control issues, which from what I'm reading they're well on their way. I would recommend the Flask and Nickel hands down. As you can tell, I'm crazy in love with my Flask.

I truly wish others wouldn't have had the glitchey issues they had so they could have experienced the Flask the way I have. It's truly a beautiful device with what I think is amazing tech. And I don't consider myself a fan boy, just someone who's had a great experience and likes to share. And it's been fun as hell to learn along the way.

Don't forget that the screen glitches were no fault of VF. That was all on Evolv.

OTOH, The battery issue was all on VF. The issue was with the sled and has since been corrected. All new releases of the Flask should come without issue.

I have only used nickel in my Flasks since getting them. It is definitely a different type of vape but I am getting all the flavor and vapor that I want. There was also a learning curve for me but just like anything else, once you learn, it's second nature.

Finally, I never liked box mods. I just didn't like the form factor. Along came the Flask and the rest is history. Yesterday, I received a Hana I won in a raffle last week. It is exactly the reason I was turned off on box mods with those square corners.

Right behind you...
And don't forget those horrid finger-destroying tact switches on the Hana. :)

And while the Hana BB switches are a subjective thing that some people actually prefer, having to carry a screwdriver around to change batteries even in the models just released this year, is, just, well, silly.

Thanks for the clarification on the screen glitch issues. Totally knew that one wasn't on VF. I guess I just rolled them all up in one to keep it short(er) ;)

So true on the box mods. Like you, I had no desire for a box mod until the Vapor Flask. For me it went from boxy to sexy. Love it!

My thoughts, exactly! Funny, I've been using my old regulated tube mod the last couple of days, and it feels totally weird now, almost awkward.

btw peeps, My Flask is still working perfectly, and it will be 17weeks old tomorrow.

That's awesome B!

That's another thing. Most people won't create an account to post, "Man! This is the most awesomest mod I have ever used." They would certainly be more inclined to do so when they have issues with their mod attempting to get help and a fix for their particular issue.

Therefore, it looks like most of the particular mods or attys are bad. When, in fact, the numbers are skewed because of this. Same thing happened in the DNA40 discussion thread.

I can honestly say I don't even bother looking at mods or mod reviews anymore. I used to constantly be on the lookout for the latest greatest mods but I'm finally satisfied. I have 2 vapor flasks 1 dna30 and 1 dna40 and my vapor shark rdna40. I can't imagine a device that could possibly sway me from these. Now all I need is to find the perfect rta and rda and life will be grand. Lol

Are you guys going to grab that Squonker Flask when it drops, or do you already have it?

I've never squonked, really never wanted to until this one from VF. And you know when you think about it, Squonking and nickel will be a great match.

Yes...no.

Indeed, it should.

I have a Chalice III in waiting. :)

I am currently waiting on delivery of mine. I got on the list in the Vapor Flask Owners group on fb. They will be available for the public at VapinArt this Thursday, April 16th, at 12:00 EST. http://www.vapinart.com/cart/Vapor-Flask-Squonk-Dna-40-21S-P1772.aspx

This will be my first venture into squonking.

Agreed.

I have found both my perfect RDA (Hobo) and perfect RTA (Flash-e-Vapor).

What are you looking for in each category?

Sqonked on a Reo years back, this new Squonk Flask has me thinking...

I just want atties that don't leak. Veritas has been superb on my Flask both in connection and FLAVOR. Still awaiting my Aeolus and Rogue to arrive.

What's everybody's favorite tank on the flask? I still need to build or get nickel coils for my Atlantis 1. Probably won't ever screw the 6ml Subtank on the Flask, lol.

I'm getting the low battery warning when my batteries are only discharged to 3.8. Anyone have this issue and have a fix? This is an early flask, has scramble issues if it's super cold out.

I did a thread search but didn't find any posts about a fix. I've cleaned the contacts, used brand new batteries, tried noalox as a last resort. Very annoying. Any help would be appreciated!

After reading this entire thread - well, the first 170 pages, anyway - I ordered a Vapor Flask. Love it! No issues; everything looks great and works perfectly. I had been thinking about a Reo, but am now seriously considering the Squonker Flask. A regulated mod just seems safer ... Can't wait to hear what y'all think of it.
