What's everybody's favorite tank on the flask?

Monster V2 on the Flask. All day, every day, since I got it.

Sqonked on a Reo years back, this new Squonk Flask has me thinking...

I just want atties that don't leak. Veritas has been superb on my Flask both in connection and FLAVOR. Still awaiting my Aeolus and Rogue to arrive.

What's everybody's favorite tank on the flask? I still need to build or get nickel coils for my Atlantis 1. Probably won't ever screw the 6ml Subtank on the Flask, lol.

My favorite tank on the Flask is the FeV. Seconded by the Erlkonigin. Although I have been using STMs for out and about recently. It's quite a bargain tank imo. Stupid easy to build. Accessible deck with a full tank. For 35 bux, it performs quite nicely for me. Plus, I have no worries if it gets broken or damaged.

I'm getting the low battery warning when my batteries are only discharged to 3.8. Anyone have this issue and have a fix? This is an early flask, has scramble issues if it's super cold out.

I did a thread search but didn't find any posts about a fix. I've cleaned the contacts, used brand new batteries, tried noalox as a last resort. Very annoying. Any help would be appreciated!

The false "Weak Battery" message is caused by an issue with the batt sled as I mentioned prior. This will require an RMA. Fill out the following RMA form and send your Flask to the address that displays once the form has been submitted.

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1AtxSxZ-dPYZD6zcdJOtjEd9PmgDvD-rp9WZuaWW_WGg/edit?usp=docslist_api

Since you say that you also get the screen scramble in cold temps, I would mention that as an issue on the RMA form as well. The VF team will get you squared away.

I'll probably end up pulling the trigger and getting the squonker . Which means a new round of atty's too.

I don't know anything about bottom feed atty's and could use some recommendations. The only one I'm somewhat familiar with or actually just heard about was the Challis III.

I got the Chalice III and an Origen v3 w/ bf kit. My Chalice III Build is here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/rda/666344-chalice-iii-build.html.

My current fav tanks on the flask are the kanger sub tanks super easy build, fill, worry free. I still use a couple of nautilus tanks because some of my fav juices simply don't taste good sub ohm. As for rda's my current favs are the aromamizer and the xpure Classic. Both are well suited for nickel builds and perform flawlessly.

Dumb question, are you planning to use the Origen v3 on the 'Squask'?

I have the Origen v2 with the BF ready to be installed. Thought I'd have a problem using it with the VF(S).

No?

Not a dumb question at all. Yes, I do intend to use my Origen on the Squask. But not until I have had the pleasure of using the Chalice for a while.

Why do you think there might be a problem using your Origen on the Squask?

My Squask is set to be delivered today. w00t! :D

Because the Origen v2 (v3) is 22 mm.

And, I bought the SS positive post that, at the time, seemed difficult to install (replace the brass post). If the v2 is not going to work, no sense in changing it to BF...

The Flask is 22mm so I don't see any issues. And yeah, swapping out the pin was a PITA the first time for me as well. I'm sure it would be easier now knowing how to do it properly.

Okay :) so tutor me. ;)

What is the trick?

BTW, I can get behind enjoying one (the Chalice) before moving on to another (the Origen). A quality sorely lacking these days.

Break it down to nothing but the base (of course). Take note of the juice feed notches in the wire clamp sleeve and then remove the wire clamp nut and sleeve. Turn it upside down against a hard surface. While applying pressure to the base, there by pushing the pin out of the base, take a screwdriver and begin unscrewing the pin. It may take a couple turns but then it'll just pop out somewhat. Then take a pair of needlenose pliers, clamp down on the screw and begin turning while pulling outward on both pieces.

I followed the following video as a reference...

Yeah, I've been really wanting to try the Chalice. I've never used a 16mm, let alone, a 14mm dripper. Hopefully, I'm in for quite a treat.

The Chalice arrived before the Origen and I have it built just waiting on the Squask. I did get the bf pin installed on the Origen but have yet to build it. Soon enough I guess. Unless I can't bring myself to removing the Chalice to give the Origen a try. :D

My Squonk Flask was Out for Delivery yesterday. My brother was standing at the mailbox when the mailman came. No package!

I checked the tracking later last night and it said, "Notice Left. No Authorized Recipient Available". *sigh*

Going to the PO today and hopefully wont get hassled too much as I don't have the notice. Mailman must've left it at someone else's house.
