I was really curious what it was that made it so you didn't exhale any vapor when you used Ruyan cartridges... So I emailed Ruyan America. I asked for any general info they could provide me about the difference between their liquid and other liquids where you do exhale vapor. Their response wasn't too helpful:

Fred . . . thank you for your question. First, if you inhale the vapor from either the cigar or the e-cigarette, you should not be able to expel a significant amount of vapor. Because the medium of the vapor is so pure, essentially water, and because nicotine is a liquid alkaloid, most of what is inhaled is absorbed in the soft tissues of the mouth and the lungs. The difference between the liquid in the e-cigar and e-cigarette is flavoring- with the e-cigar having a different flavor- a combination of tobacco, coffee and vanilla flavors and the e-cigarette cartridge having principally a tobacco flavor. Also,, because the volume of liquid in the cigar is greater than the cigarette, it produces a significantly greater and denser amount of vapor. We hope this answer is responsive to your question. Thank you.

I got that answer too, and I don't think that is the right answer- I now beleive the key is the amount of Glycerin used- Glycerin produces a thicker denser vapor that lingers much longer if more is used- cut down on the Glycerin, and the vapor will be much less dense, and evaporate much quicker- I've tested this myself with my mixtures- when I use more Glycerin, the clouds are much denser- last in the air longer, and doesn't dissipate in the lungs nearly as quick as when you lessen the amoutn of Glycrin
