Hey everyone...I am way new here...in fact, I haven't even received my first kit yet. I'm hoping to order it today :) I have been reading all the threads on V4L and am ordering this one (on a friend's suggestion). I have been smoking Marlboro Lights for about 25 years, quit with the patch twice, obviously no success! It did work for about 2 months, but tragedy occurred and I found myself smoking again, hiding it from work, my family, even my kids for about 6 months (when they found my lighter). The guilt is overwhelming and as much as I love smoking, I hate it even more! Since smoking again, I've actually already bought the 3 stages of the patch (again) and have been walking around with step 1 in my purse since July...and yes it's STILL in my purse.

I'm hoping with the e-cig I'll at least get healthier before kicking the habit completely. My plan is to start with 11 mg (hope that's enough) and slowly wean myself off completely. If I end up throwing away the patches, then it's $100 gone and a life saved! :)

I look forward to posting my first experience with V4L!
Happy Thanksgiving!!

Welcome Electric Power! I am sure you will enjoy dealing with Vaper4Life. It is a great company. I just wanted to suggest you go with 18 or 24mg to start. You can always
go to a lower strength if it is too muich, however you should start at a strength that gives you enough nicotine so that you have a better chance at quitting. Hope to
see you postings in the forum.

Thank you for the suggestion Sally! I'll probably order both 18 and 11 to start...I googled how many mg's are in one Marlboro Lt and it said .8 mg, so I'd imagine 24 might be a big too much? I'll let you know how it goes, thanks again!

Just so you know, the way they measure the bottles is by volume and doesn't compare with the mg's in a cig. A 24mg bottled juice isn't the same as a 24mg cig. Wow!!;) Instant heart attack! Usually heavy smokers prefer 24mg/36mg and light smokers less. I smoked 2 packs off full flavor regs a day and 18mg just doesn't do it for me. G'luck getting your dose figured out.

Thanks for the info Max....I bought both 18mg and 11mg with my first order and found out that 18 mg is way too harsh for me. The 11mg cartos feel a lot smoother to me without that "scratchy throat" feeling I used to get when I smoked too many cigs in a day. Just another plus with vaping....I can vape all day long and never feel bad the next morning :)

Hello everybody! I'm so glad to have found Vaping in general and this forum in particular (not to mention V4L!). I'd been a pack-a-day smoker for 15 years since joining Uncle Sam's Yacht Club, and had quit thrice before, but I think it'll finally "take" thanks to V4L! Got off smokes for 2 weeks cold turkey, about a month on lozenges, and almost 3 months from the patch, but each time I had to fight to keep away from cigarettes. As soon as life threw me a curveball, I ran back to buy a pack of my stinky little friends... I got my first taste of vaping from one of the dreaded mall kiosks (Green Nicotine) and while talking to the salesman about ordering online, he was dodgy and tried to discourage me from it. That got me suspicious, so I passed on that purchase real quick!

I hit the Internet hard, found this great forum, and proceeded to devour information. I knew that, being fundamentally lazy, I had to go the cartomizer route, and with V4L's selection the choice of company was too easy! I fired off an order and had a starter kit and some cartos within 2 days! Talk about knowing your (addicted) customer base! :) I kept my last pack of analogs for the first week just in case, but I haven't touched them - how could I when I could get my nicotine fix in such a convenient and tasty way now?!?

Today I received my second order from V4L (in 2 days again!) with more batteries (great sale!) and some more carts. One of my favorites so far is Cherry Cordial, which I had gotten as a free sample in my first order! I just threw out my last pack of cigarettes, because after 2 weeks of vaping, I know there is no way I'll go back! Many, many thanks to you all on this forum and the gang at V4L for helping me get that smoky monkey off my back for good! I hope that I can be as helpful to some other new wannabe vaper as you've all been to me! Happy New Year, indeed!

I was a 2+ pad smoker for37 years. I haven't had an analog in 17 days. Amazing! Still have 3packs of smokes in my freezer, I should just give them away, as I only remember there there periodically, but just haven't been able to do it yet. I don't think I have saved any money yet, as I am still ordering 2x week. Tried ordering my favorite smilin in juice form and it was nasty- nothing like the pre filled. I probably did something wrong, because wade told me it was fine. Anyway, have ordered smilin in a lower nic for the juice to try again. Maybe juice is stronger than pre filled.

Maybe not your money yet, but definitely your lungs. I'm kind of in the same boat. I keep wanting to try all the flavors. I imagine I'll narrow down my choices in the future and save money then. For now I'm just happy I've been analog free for over a month.
