Hey there. I'm new to the forum and new to V4L. I just got my starter kit saturday and I've already decided that the analogs that I have are the last that I will smoke. I still get an urge, but it's pure habit at this point. The ritual of pouring a cup of coffee and sitting out on the screen porch is quite ingrained after all these years. Now all I have to do is kiss that last pack goodbye.

Welcome! You can vape the urge away and start your new ritual of porch/coffee/vape. Vaping beats smoking any day of the week! I suspect you already know that. Let the fun begin!

Thanks for the notes everyone. I smoked my last analog at 6:00 this morning. I've been hitting the pv pretty hard, but it's definately doing the trick. The best part of the morning was when my husband asked me to order him a pv when I ordered more carts for myself today. He smokes unfiltered ryos, and though he gest some of the most natural tobacco one can buy, it's still tobacco. Needless to say, I ordered him two batteries and some carts as soon as I got to the office. I also spoke to my firm manager yesterday, and asked if it would be okay for me to vape at my desk. I had to explain what an e-cig is, but he was cool with it. He said that anything would smell better than my office did right then (I had just gone out for an analog). I tried not to take offense (he is a lawyer after all, and prone to short-circuiting that part of the brain that kicks in before the mouth begins operation). So, here I am, vaping away at my desk, loving life, and just waiting for the first paralegal to walk in and start coughing when they see me vaping. I promise not to hurt anyone, even the prima donna paralegals. I promise not to hurt anyone, even the prima donna paralegals. I promise...okay, I won't promise, but I'll do my best. :)

The nonsmokers' fake cough was always annoying but now they do it around ANYTHING that looks like smoke, and they look so stupid. It takes them a while to realize that they don't smell anything. Sometimes you have to actually ask, "do you smell any smoke?" They'll say no but they will look confused (and slightly defeated).

Congrats Rappel! You have a great attitude and I wish you continued success!

Oh, and try not to hurt the paralegals, ok?

24 hours down! I've killed a couple of carts, but more are on the way. I learned a valuable lesson today; don't hit the tequila cart first thing in the morning. It was okay last night, but at 5:30 this morning it reminded me of a few bad hangovers from days gone by. Has anyone spoken with V4L's r&d to ask if they could add some caffeine to their carts? It would make life so much easier at this time of day. 'Till then, I'm off to the kitchen.
Thus far, no paralegals have suffered long-term damage.

I want to introduce myself to the V4L club here. I have been analog free for a few weeks now and frankly have no desires at all to go back anymore. Have not even really thought about it. I will keep it short here because I have already written a novel elsewhere as to other things.

The V4L members are incredible in my short stay already and my order is going in tonight if the site will work for me. Spare batts, another PCC, and carts oh glorious carts.

I am a writer, publisher, and golfer that is very involved in other forums (only golf).

If anybody has a golf question, I am here to help of course....I can help with just about ANYTHING golf.

Ummmm I am new here too and haven't had my shots. Better go get innoculated!

Let's see...43, almost 44, can't breath anymore, high blood pressure, high cholesterol. Got on the "lose weight, smoke more, quit smoking, gain weight" merry go round trying to fix stuff. Wasn't working. I think this will. Then I can breath and start exercising again.

Promised my dad I would quit smoking. He died of lung cancer last September. Lost everyone in my family to either smoking or obesity, all under the age of 74 and some under 65. Too young. Our addictions seem to kill us.

Sooooo that's enough sad stuff. So far I am loving vaping, most the people on the forum and I went to a vapers meet up here in Vegas and had a great time. And I am not craving a smoke! YAY!!

Minor setback over the weekend. My order didn't come in on Saturday, so I broke down and bought a pack of analogs. Yet another valuable lesson has been learned; don't run out of supply....especially when trying to cram for an exam. :)
You know what they say, if at first you don't succeed....don't skydive....oh, and the other one...try, try again.
