After arguing with myself about it last night, I pulled the trigger on the VaporFlask Classic. Have been using the RX200 for over a month now and have been extremely impressed with it, and since I've always wanted an upgrade to my Waidea VF Clone this seemed like the perfect chance. Now if they'd release the silver ones I might buy another!

So you know that their planning on releasing a silver one? I'm thinking of getting one but worried that the black paint would flake or chip off.

Quick question for anyone who owns the new VF Classic: Is there space around your battery door that makes the door rattle incessantly? Maybe it's just mine, but after using it for a week I'm no longer happy with it. Rattling battery doors are not what I'd expect on a mod in this price range, especially if VF expects to maintain their reputation while selling cheaper products.

Thanks,
Treeburner
Maybe if you wrapped some black tape on magnets or edges you could get a tighter fit. I've seen similar things down to other mods. I personally don't have a VF classic so I don't know if something like that would work, but thought I'd throw that out there.

Contact VF about it. From what I have heard they will probably replace it. When you are in a certain price range my tolerance for defects dwindles very quickly.

No issues at all with my Classic. I really wanted a SX Flask because I love the chip but man I wasn't gonna spend almost 3 bills on a mod. That being said the Classic is my favorite flask out of the ones I have owned. No other mod feels better in your hand. The 510 is beautiful with no issues and even if there is an issue VF'S customer service is second to none.

I agree.I've had my classic a few weeks now,and it's the only mod i've used since i got it.Before,i was using either my Sigelei 150tc or Releaux rx200,i haven't touched either since getting this. This is my 4th flask, the others are all 40 watt ones though, but love the design on these.

I so want a SS version. They make that and I'm all in.

Just got the classic. Love it. Has a little of that back door rattle, but that may also be the thickness of the wrap on the batteries. It feels really solid. Only thing about the 510 is that it is really tight, kinda not a smooth screw in if that makes sense. And no, I'm not shredding the threads or anything. I've only used my REM RDA on it so far so maybe I'll throw on the old troll or a tank and see how that does. The read on the build is on point though, 0.34 which read the same on another mod I returned for the classic.

Love my Classic. By far my favorite mod.

On the door,it could be like you say about the thickness of the wraps, but another place to look is to make sure the small piece of ribbon isn't getting caught between the case and door.Mine did that once and drove me crazy trying to figure out why my door was wobbling when i touched it.
As for the 510,mine was pretty tight when new as well.It will get easier the more you put your atty on and take it off.Mine is very smooth now.

Cool, thanks. Yeah it may have been the ribbon. One other thing, I charged my batteries (a pair that I bought and married), up to 4.2 v like normal when I first got them, one was a little bit less charged that the other, both were in the 3.6 range. I'm charging them for the second time now, and there was a fairly significant voltage difference between them. I didn't use a multimeter, but my charger tells me the voltage. One was maybe 0.6-0.7 higher? Its kind of a noob question but I never really used to charge my batteries externally, always bought mods with lower wattage ratings and USBs. Should they be draining at a similar rate? With maybe 0.1-0.3 difference? My charger supposedly has protection, but on the first charge I initially took the first one that was done charging off, and then the second battery was done like a minute or 2 later. Also, as I am charging them now, I see the one that was more drained is catching up to the other, like the charger is splitting the juice and giving that one more. Its a 2 bay Efect Luc with the digital screen. Regardless, the Classic is sweet, very happy so far with the purchase. With so many mods out there now, its hard to make a decision, and like I implied before, I'm not someone who collects mods. I actually want to try to make vaping cheaper than smoking!

Well, I got my profit sharing check yesterday so I decided to spend what was left over on a new mod.

All attys fit flush so far. I love the way it accommodates any 18650. My VF DNA 40 does not. Well made and no complaints. The rest of my profit sharing went towards my diy ejuice journey.

Nice man. So far so good with mine. The batteries seemed to end up charging in unison eventually so I guess nothing to worry about regarding the above post I made. The back does still have a slight rattle every now and then but nothing terrible. Could still be the ribbon but its definitely not caught in there. I might just snip it. Could also just be the wrap on these batteries. I tried these purple Imren 3000 mah 40 ampers, I would usually go LG or Samsung but a guy that works at the local B&M that I know has about 8,000 mods swears by them. No complaints so far.

Same here.I have a black and a silver flask sqounker, now i want both in the classic, but all i have seen is black and the other says white.I haven't seen a good enough picture to be able to tell if it's actually white,or just uncoated aluminum, but if it's white i don't want it,i steer clear of white mods because my hands get too dirty, and would make the white look nasty pretty quick haha.

Ditto, I'd buy a silver one in a NY minute.

He may swear by them, but independent testing shows that LG and Samsung batteries are better.
