After arguing with myself about it last night, I pulled the trigger on the VaporFlask Classic. Have been using the RX200 for over a month now and have been extremely impressed with it, and since I've always wanted an upgrade to my Waidea VF Clone this seemed like the perfect chance. Now if they'd release the silver ones I might buy another!

How's the finish on the black? Rugged?
Nope not at all rugged. I wish someone would do some type of sleeve. All I've been able to find so far is leather and I really don't want to wrap it. SS would be perfect for a mod like this. Oh well by the time I beat the .... out of this I'm sure something bigger and better will be out. Lol

Got my replacement black Stout back last Monday, it's working great, my go-to mod now. I'm getting a full day (20ml+ of juice) out of the Basen 4500mAh batteries, vaping at 40w/520F on a 0.17ohm 26g Ti01 dual coil build in a Bellus. In reality, it's got about the same functional battery life as my dual-18650 Flasks, in a more portable package.

Did you do the upgrade ? Are you using the manual TCR settings?
I received my 3rd replacement last week didn't upgrade this one. So far so good.

I did the upgrade soon as it came out of the new box, same as the fully functional but wobbly button first one. I use the manual TCR since I build with titanium in most of my atomizers, and on the Stout a manual TCR of 0377 works better (water tested) than the default Ti setting. Haven't tried Ni200 or SS presets or manual TCR for those (no SS, and not faffing around with a nickel build ever again if I can avoid it).

I've been using the SS preset on the Stout. It works fine. I tried 0092 on the previous units and I wasn't happy with the results on manual TCR settings.
I know my builds and the SS wire 316L are accurate. 0092 works like a charm on my SX M ,and ML.
I guess I'll try the upgrade again and see what happens.
Thanks for the response.

Just keep in mind that how Yihi does TC ain't the same way Joyetech does it. Or Evolv, or Smok, or...

Received my Vape Forward Classic Flask, and I'm very impressed with the quality of the build. Many people have been complaining about the weight of the classic, but after using a Waidea VF V3 Clone this mod doesn't seem overly heavy to me. Upgraded to firmware v2.00, and am running my dual 24g titanium build in my Geekvape Griffin with a custom TCR value of 0366.

Will be publishing a full review of the VF Classic and the Stout next month, so make sure to check us out!

Got mine in Monday and did the upgrade. Just been running it in power mode so far. Seems like a solid device. The only complaint is the smallish screen for these aging eyes. I don't mind the weight at all...liking the hefty feel actually.

I agree, the hefty feel of it is comforting, it makes the mod feel sturdy and solid. And I also agree about the screen - although I don't have trouble reading it, it would be nice if they had a slightly larger screen arranged in a vertical orientation like the Evic VT. Looking forward to trying out the Stout!

Quick question for anyone who owns the new VF Classic: Is there space around your battery door that makes the door rattle incessantly? Maybe it's just mine, but after using it for a week I'm no longer happy with it. Rattling battery doors are not what I'd expect on a mod in this price range, especially if VF expects to maintain their reputation while selling cheaper products.

Thanks,
Treeburner
