So i placed an order with vaporium them earlier in the week, payment made etc. Although 4 days later and no email , no response to my emails asking about ETA. I do have a receipt for payment but... - Curious to know if they are generally slow to respond ?

I'm not "unhappy" just curious to know if Canada post is part of the delay or something else. I'd usually expect some sort of communication from an online vendor... but my expectations might not apply.

Figured I'd ask here before sending a less positive email their way.

I wouldn't worry about it, You will get it when Canada Post decides to get their .... together. I should have gotten mine on Tuesday, then Wednesday, now who knows.

By experience, i can tell you Sylvain is not a great communicator.... i waited for 2 weeks without a response until i threaten to cancel my payment by Visa.. then and only then did i get a quick answer.... that's the bad experience i had with Vaporium, but Sylvain was a good sport about it and refunded me since 2 weeks after my initial order.. he still hadn't sent my order out.

i have had a similiar experience with them that's why ive decided to go with other Canadian suppliers

With a full lock out on - the only thing that Canada Post is sending out is pension checks.

The Monday-Wednesday-Friday deliveries were only valid during the rotating strike phase.

The government has tabled back-to-work legislation and will debate it next week. If it passes, mail will resume at the end of next week. If not - then everyone has to wait until the union and cp reach an agreement. If you have a package on the way - it's exactly where it was when the lock out was announced.

That's just it though Lildevil - Payment confirmation ...but no confirmation of shipment.
I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now.

Just to add my experience from a different vendor.
In the past when I ordered from them I got confirmation of payment and shipping.
This time. NOTHING. The only confirmation I got was from my bank saying that the payment was accepted.
Now the day of the lockout (still didn't get any email saying it had shipped) I logged into my account to find out that the order was shipped 3 days ago and is sitting in a processing facility about an hour from where I live.

Basic customer service is getting to be a thing of the past with some vendors it seems.
I had the same problem when I ordered some *stuff* from an e-juice vendor. No communication whatsoever, and when I did get an answer, all I got was one word answers. No communication to say that the interac payment had been received and no communication to say that it was shipped. Sad, really.
So I ignore the vendor that is non communicative and I move on until I find one that wants my money and knows what customer service is.

I have not dealt with Vaporium neither, but from the reports about them and Customer Service, I will likely steer clear of them. I was referring to a dealer here in Ontario.
So, I removed the Ontario dealer from my bookmarks and move on as there are lots of wonderful vendors out there who are extremely willing to share their knowledge.

Hi there Trailer. I thought I'd let you know that I met Vaporium's owner in person about 30 minutes ago. I went right to his house. I told him he should confirm delivery once sent. He took note of it. He hasn't been doing this for a long time.
He also told me that all the orders he received we're sent out before the lockout. Mine too. So they are in the system, locked down by Canada Post.
