Has anyone who ordered via the Labor Day sale coupon received a timeframe? I know it was Sept before they had the sale. I'm thinking they must've sold a lot during. Anyone call or E-Mail? I don't want to bother them. I'm afraid it will slow them down.

The shipping note is based on when you placed the order, not the current status of all orders. Seeing that it's still the same note, I'm guessing we'll get it before the end of Sept (3 weeks). They don't send out updates on when your order will ship, just when it ships with tracking.

I just go on the assumption that I'll have it by 9/30. If it comes early, even better.

I haven't heard anything, as yet. They have a post on their website that indicates all dna 200 should hopefully ship by the end of the month.

Their site says, "All New dna 200 orders are expected to ship by the end of September." However, based on my experience from ordering in the past from them during a big sale like this, that is probably too optimistic. They are already getting tons of calls already, and I personally wouldn't bother them until mid-Oct if I haven't received mine. But, I am also patient and have many other mods to keep me happy while I wait :)

Just got my VS DNA 200 about 2 hours ago. All I can say is....WOW. This thing is a powerhouse. I built a ni200 (28g/30g) clapton coil (0.05-0.06ohm) last night, on my aromamizer RDTA, and my snow wolf, at 70w, couldn't even take the clapton above 368 degrees. Got the VS today and put it on there, 200w preheat, and 100w and it fired up instantly and is the most beautiful vape at 450 degrees. Having the 200w ability for this is simply amazing.....Not to mention this VS is sooo light and beautiful. My first VS device, and im in love....

P.S. Don't tell my wife.

Thank you for your interest in our products and for reaching out to us with your concern. We are very much aware that there are currently some issues with the paint on the DNA200. We have taken proper action in correcting this internally and will be providing a resolution to all customers who are dealing with this issue with their devices. We will be offering a case replacement that will be completely covered under your devices warranty. At this very moment we won't be able to fulfill this as we don't currently have the parts available to do so. Feel free to use your device in the mean time with confidence that this matter will be resolved and contact us further down the line as we estimate that we will have replacement cases available in approximately 2-3 weeks. We thank you for your patience and understanding with this matter and for your support throughout this ordeal.

I also want to make you and the community aware that we are taking the proper measures to correct this issue. All of our current inventory has been shipped back to manufacturing and will receive brand new casings along with more detailed Quality Control. We want to ensure that all of our customers receive the absolute best device that is up to our high standards. Due to this manufacturing issue we will not receive devices for a period of 3 weeks. As soon as the devices arrive at our facility we will begin to fulfill orders in the manner which they were received.

Thank you so much for patience and understanding regarding this matter. We do apologize for the delay and inconvenience this issue has caused.

Whereas it would be nice to have the device, I would prefer any issues to be corrected prior to receiving it. I have been very pleased with my rDNA 40 and haven't had any of the coating issues with mine since I received it in early June (nor any other issues that were device related). Just glad they are stepping up and accepting responsibility. I've had a couple of calls into VS CS, which were very responsive. Kudos to them.

The naysayers got quiet... or I just haven't given them enough time to come up with something new. I am pleased with the device, and the support I've gotten from them. Two days for the email reply, and I'm fairly certain that's because they are answering all the where is my device emails. I am curious if anyone who is getting the Whiteout has plans to gut the VS and see if they can't transfer the zip charging goodies over to the whiteout.

That is good news, even though it sucks to wait 3 more weeks on top. But at least they are aware and take measures to address the issue. I was following the whole "skin problem" here in the forums and was honestly contemplating on canceling my order. The only reason I haven't so far was the good price I got over labor's day.

Thanks to your email @N1gh7m4r3 I'm gonna stick it out now. Thankfully one of the custom mods I ordered is shipping next week. So I will have at least one device for now to play with.

So much for end of September. Now I'm thinking the race between my whiteout DNA and this will be closer.
Yeah it sounds like the whiteout DNA is going to be delayed too from their latest reddit update. I'm ok with both delays, I can wait if it means a higher quality device.

I was thinking probably Nov for the whiteout, but I'm a pessimist at heart LOL! At least the guys at whiteout are being really transparent with their production issues. Hopefully VS gets them out before that.

Very nice response from VS. I'm too OCD on something like a finish for something new so I am okay missing out on the $160 deal, maybe that was an inventory clearing event knowing of the issue (some will never fool with sending it back). Regardless it will be good to see what does unfold by end of October once new ones are in hand, in jeans and had some tossing around done with them.
