Variable wattage/any vape advise

I have a vamo v5 with vv/vw. I love being able to fine tune it the way I want it to be. I really like it set at about at 8 watts when I can put it there. But I keep getting different results with the same juice and tank set up. Sometimes I can set it at 8 when filling it sometimes I have to adjust down. I'm not changing anything else just refilling the tank. I can't figure out why I have to adjust in differently each time to not get a burnt taste. I have tried adjusting the tension of how I screw everything down on the tank but sometimes it the atomizer floods and I get nothing. Is there something I am doing wrong? Or Is this normal? This is the first mod I have had and I really like the better taste/vapor I get from it compared to just a regular ego battery. Just don't know if I should have to always be adjusting. Maybe I am just being to picky.

What tank are you using?

My Evods can give dry hits after filling. A couple long unpowered hits usually gets the wicking going again.

Also good to clean the threads and pin on the top of the Vamo on a regular basis. Juice gets in there and if it gets too dirty the buildup can raise the resistance which fools the device into jacking up the voltage if you are running it in the wattage mode.

Your wattage is consistent, your tank is not, if you get a burnt taste it means that it's probably not wicking fast enough.

Zurd has it - Happens to my ProTank 2 from time to time - a couple unpowered hits should do the trick, or just let it sit for a bit and soak up some juice, and you'll be back in action.
