I like the new designs, looks like it adds grip to the device. When I had the provari my only complaints were the weight and how easy it is to drop or fall out of pockets (I'm always crawling around in tight spaces at work, climbing ladders going into attics and all that fun stuff). The only thing that ever broke was the cartomizer I had in, which broke off right at the threads and was able to just use needle nose pliers to get the remnants out, which I was impressed by. Maybe I'm just clumsy tho
