exactly. however, if they did put out a vw device, i'd probably buy one just to have one....i'm saving right now so i can get a mini to compliment my v2, and hell, i even want the PV-1, cause i know they are going to work. also, love the avatar man.
and how are they "refusing" to adapt? last i checked i haven't seen a fervent and outstanding denial of potentially a VW device coming from provape, so i don't know how you can make such accusations about them since you simply cannot call your previous statement truth beyond a shadow of a doubt....
i used to be just like you, i have many a mod sitting right here next to me on my nightstand....but when i reach over to take a vape, i grab the 'vari....because i know that vape is the same every single time, right down until the battery dies...and you would be hard pressed to find another mod that did that every single time you popped in a new battery.
now....when and if provape decides to release a VW device...rest assured it will be the sturdiest, best built of all the VW mods around, and that it will most likely outlast anything you may have now.
actually if you saw the tests for the zmax v2 the performance is the same on each vape until the battery is completely dead. I own a z and a p and love them both but IMO I don't think it's fair to say the provari vapes better. I actually prefer the feel and look of my zmax over the provari
that post made was completely irrelevant to what i posted....i understand where you are coming from, but i'm going to sit here and vape my 'vari until something outright better comes along, and right now the zmax doesn't seem to be it....
relevant to what i posted though: my rant there was in response to someone saying that provape "let the customers down" by refusing to go VW, quite frankly, there is no proof of them denying the existance of at least plans to make such a device, and i feel everyone here would be hard pressed to give me hard evidence that provape was NOT working on such a device.
I can confirm that right now they are not but may be in the future as stated by provape themselves
hope they come up with something with updatable firmware via USB so we don't get stuck with yesterday's technology. Since the principle of output is the same, and all the electronics inside do the job of power regulation, I don't see why they can't do it.
with the current board on the provari this is pretty much impossible,it relies on running a current through your atomizer to check the resistance, which is low, but it still needs to fire the device to get an accurate reading, by that standard, if they were able to update the firmware, the first thing that the device would need to do is "prime" itself every fire for a couple seconds so it can get a good reading, then set the voltage....
secondly, don't expect USB, if you look inside the provari, you can clearly see the circuit board....there is no usb imput...if any type of firmware update were to come...it would involve sending it in for a board switch....as i doubt they'd want to see some amateur frying their 200 dollar vaporizer because they got in over their head.
you can confirm it? and how? were you recently on the shop floor of provape HQ asking about what the future plans were?
the company may be dodgy about it, i read that we shouldn't expect one anytime soon-ish....that is not by any means a fervant denial, that is not a statement saying that they have no plans in the works or even on the table already in a prototype phase, we just don't know, and honestly, knowing from previous experience, quality is something they hold dearly, we won't know ANYTHING about a vw device from provape until it's wrapping up post-beta development....until then, expect dodgy answers from them when asked about such a device being in development....they won't release something incomplete that needs an update in a month.
Hi Jonathan,
Sadly, we do not have plans in the near future to produce a variable wattage ProVari.
This is mostly because of how incredibly busy we are currently and we are working on other plans and ideas at this time.
Hopefully, we will introduce variable wattage at some point since we do get questions for it almost every day.
Kindly,
Jennifer
From provape today, so that's not ambiguous at all, in fact it's a very concrete answer
On yet another thread, an email sent from Provape said that they had recently needed to hire additional staff to try to keep up with current orders. Dispite what the naysayers are predicting, people are buying Provaris left and right. Heck, I'm trying to figure out how to justify a Mini after only having my Provari for less than 2 months. I don't need one, but I want one. I've already got proven backups.check that third paragraph, looks like it may very well happen...
and yes it looks well like they may not have one on the table yet, but if they are that busy, they are still selling units...so if you think they are a dying company, you'd be very wrong.

Thats what Ive been trying to say in this thread.Im all for ANYTHING that keeps people off of analogs.I just dont think the people who would prefer a VW device are Provapes target customers. The RBA guys reading this need to come out with a quality american made VW mod that matches a couple of their RBAs and they would sell like hotcakes. Let Provape have its "niche" since they dont seem to be hurting for business.
