Trying very hard to get of the analogs.. several years ago, got a njoy kit.. major disapointment! husband got suckered by one of thoes "free" kits.. Well expensive, but odd thing the prefilled carts actually tasted ok..
Wanting to not repeat same issues before.. gave a blu disposable a try.. taste pretty good.. so went to JC, yes.. got the Vea.. and been happy so far.. problem is.. Now I have a bunch of cartos, filled with each flavor.. and some new juice comming from HHV.. so.. wish I knew about making a drip system out of a empty carto DUH.. I did order one of the 501 attys to drip with.. hope that is compatable..

Needles to say.. what Carto.. beyond using one with a 501 thread can I use with the VEA battery?? is there a specific thing I need to stay away from that will fry the battery? LR or not? I noted that some websites mention warnings.. I like to get some backups.. and a little cheaper then the VEA cartos..hey they do last all day before topping off.. so not all bad..
Also.. Can I use a clear type carto? Very novice.. but like the fact you can see the levels.. so and suggestions with these would be nice.. I know I pretty much overpayed for what this system is.. but I have used it, working well, customer service exceptional.. and call me old fashoned.. not going to return it because I missed some info and could get somting cheaper.. similar.. also it was this company that gave me the nerve to try e-cigs again after a VERY bad experience before.. seems worth supporting them.. for this!

One good thing is I have several packs of these very expesive refills that do fit..any reason to worry about using these cheap cartos.. again the warnings on some websites has me worried about its more than just the treads..

Welcome to the forum! I don't know about the VEA, but I have some Good Smoke Living cig-a-likes. They have a 510 thread, but I wouldn't trust them with any of my more advanced gear. I'm not sure what the mAh is, but I have a feeling they would fry or not have enough power. The other way around though, I would use the carts on my eGo batteries, but they don't taste all that great.

ETA: Here is something that might help: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxirXIHXysg Doctor Vapor also has a video about refilling the older cartos.

Thanks.. Not looking for real advanced.. just like to get the cartos for like the $5 range I see on some websites Vs th $10.. I think it is a 650mah battery per the user guide.. not sure about the output... but did see some mention about 2v?

So not sure does any 501 fit.. what about low resitance etc etc...

Never figured I have to use some of the engenering backgound to quit smoking.. or change habits :)

Thanks for the link.. actually did watch it, figured out why when I "tried" before is did not work from this clips.. Even got the how to turn a carto into a drip from the forum.. only wish I had saw that one before I "filled" all my emptys :)

Actually watched it again.. Diffrent video.. HMM THANKS for the link always learning somthing new!!

If this is it yes it will take 510 cartos...they mention in the FAQs that the Vea cartos are 510/ 1.7 ohms
Johnson Creek Original Smoke Juice - The Best E-Liquid in the World - Made Right Here in America
"Q: Do you sell blank refill cartomizers?
A: Yes, our Vea™ 1.7 ohm low resistance cartomizers are available for purchase on our website."

"Q: Will your cartomizers fit my e-cigarette?
A: Our Premium Vea™ cartomizers are threaded with the 510 thread size and are compatible with any device that uses this thread design. However due to the low resistance of the cartomizer you should use caution when using the cartomizer on any other devices that are variable voltage capable."

Technical Specifications
Battery voltage:3.7V
Battery amp:650mah
Cartomizer Resistance ohm:1.7-1.9ohm
Weight of one assembled e-cig:44g(for single e-cig)、260g for starter kit.
Length of one assembled e-cig:16.6*133.8mm(for single e-cig)、150*97*40mm for starter kit.

For me (your mileage may certainly vary) this young woman was spot on. I was very happy with the kit she recommended (although the LR306 was a bit advanced for me until I got a Cannon drip tip). What I liked was that this gave me an idea of what "real vaping" was like. I then moved up to a 1000mAh battery, and then a Twist. Personally, I'm glad I started small, because it gave me something to compare the Twist to. My Opinion of what to Buy as a Beginner. - YouTube

Yeah, that's the goal - but it's very easy to get caught up in the pretty shiny toys.

You're welcome. Problem right now is with Boge and Smok Tech cartos there are quality control issues so it's hit and miss.

Well offical got supplies comming from several places.. starting with a 510 drip atty and some samples from HHV.. Yumm.. and I have smoked my last stinky today!

Already discovered. DO NOT put glass bottles from JC with the little pipette top in front of a space heater to steep.. and forget them ;0
Scared the crap out of the dogs when it popped.. the rubber stopper must have been under two much pressure.. found the glass pipette about 10ft away!!
Good news.. juice taste better now.. and did not loose any!!
