I want the aeolus v2 so bad! Don't really like the screws in the bottom juice well part, I know why their there but just seems like it coulda been done better in my opinion. Doesn't the delrin vector cap that he sells take regular 510 drip tips? They don't take a special size right?

Ha! I just got mine in. Can you tell me why those screws are in there? I am going to start a thread elsewhere though...

What are the screws on the deck for? I haven't had a chance to see any more of it than a quick teaser pic SynthetiCloud posted a while back.

Yes, the replacement delrin Vector caps he sells do take standard 510 drip tips. I had asked for one with a built in drip tip similar to the authentic but with a smaller bore, but he notified me they don't come with ANY drip tip, so me being all matchy-matchy like I am, wanted to get a new tip to match since I have since thrown away any tip in my possession other than the 10pack of Derringer-style tips i got months back.

I read a while back on the instagram page the screws are there for holding the bottom portion of the deck on I believe. I think it's the screw on part of the deck. Let me check again and I will get back to you to confirm this.

Just wanted to post my experience from this morning. Long story short, I have had a build in my vector that hasn't been performing well (spit back, tip getting very hot, poor vapor production). Rather than spending the time to rebuild, I looked on the counter at my authentic mutation x v2 and go figure, the vector cap fits perfectly over the MX deck base. I have a .6 ohm dual coil 26g setup in it and WOW. While the coils sit closer to center (not directly below the air holes) the vapor and flavor production is remarkably good. Just wanted to let everyone know that it is possible and actually works very well. Also adds the ease of building with the positive block on the MX deck.

And like I posted before, the cap also fits on The Stumpy! It's nice to see cross-compatibility with drippers. :toast: Good find.

That's funny about the "flavor" bit becasue I do feel the flavor feels more, how shall I say it? Clean?! But I still don't like the atty becasue of certain other aspects.
You can send it my way if you want? Just a thought hahaha! What don't you like though? PM me if you don't wanna post it here. I wanna hear your thoughts on it.

I just wanted to post this, if you like your Vector wide open there is another option. I decided to stop my order on the derlin caps and go with these because I do like to run my Vector wide open. The Ciro by JMK Tips fits the Vector, it is made for the Thundercloud, Kennedy Comp, Vector and another RDA I believe. Its a very, very high end tip and quite nice.

No one? What am I, chopped liver?

I can barely keep up with all the vape names of companies, atties, mods and eliquids anymore!

No no no lol Besides you, you were the only one that actually entertained the idea. But honestly I'm glad someone jumped on it.

Just jiving with ya'. I had re-posted it a little while ago (before Toms fix was posted) becasue I thought it was the best current option. It still is a great option. Having more than one option is optimal anyway. Plus Tom only has like under 20 left, so that won't be an option for much longer.

Trust me if I had the money at the time I woulda ran with the idea, but his stuff isn't cheap and you know id rather place an order for more then 1 thing then just 1 but that's just a preference I have. But id love to have 1 of these as a back up option to the delrin cap I currently have.

Oh, Heisnberg I do recall you posting about a tip now, did not know it was this one. I love, love, love JMK tips and my local shop has them as well. I got the two Ciro tips for only $35 straight up, not sure how that compares with the price in the US but the shop was charging $22 for them and then add tax as well, I got a good deal IMO. JMK tips are pricey and to some it may seem stupid to spend $20+ on a tip but I am grown and work for my money, I have a few of the shorter tips and I also have a few of the wide bore 510 tips in derlin. I really love those tips.
