I ordered some nightshift 3am the 18th, got the notice in yesterday's email that it was shipped...guess all the stars must have aligned.

I'm jealous! I placed my order a week ago and haven't heard anything. Sent an email earlier today but haven't heard yet. I'm ok with the delay--I certainly understand why and it's a very good reason. But from a consumer perspective, it would be cool if one of them would shoot out some updates on facebook or twitter letting customers know where they are in the process. Some pics of the facility move might be cool too--kinda a "here's what we're up to, sorry for the delay, but this will ultimately work out for more good juice faster for you! Thanks for being patient."

uh oh--I just realized--I'm never going to see my order. it was placed on FRIDAY THE 13TH!!!

Darn Jason has my juice!

They sent me a sample bottle which I haven't tried yet. It sure smells awesome though! I think this weekend I am going to bust out the Nutty Cookie.

Almost killed an evod of Strawb gwab and wow. It's amazing. It's on the sweeter side but it's an authentic flavor and not candy like at all. I had to order a 30ml just because. Don't mind the wait either as I know it's worth it. It topped moo juice as my wife's favorite.

I placed an order on the 13th and it's still showing as unfulfilled. I checked their FB page for any info and there was a reply from them stating: " All postage will be upgraded to priority to help make up for the delay. Sorry ! Happy Vaping!".

I'm ok with the wait but everyone I have ordered from thus far have shipped out very quickly or kept me updated via email. I was getting a little antsy. Hopefully it'll be on the way soon.

I have to agree with all the posts. Velvet Cloud out of SF is one fine vape. I was introduced to their product at a shop in Sacramento. The Blue Beard and White Beard are very complex and to me each highlight a very distinct yet subtle difference every time I vape them; possibly taste buds reacting differently, hell I don't know. All I know is that with these two and Boba's Bounty I am one happy vaper.

I ordered the Burly Beard tobacco as a gift for a friend who was vaping only unflavored nic. she said that she really loved smoking and is glad that she gave it up, but loves tobacco. i picked this one because she didn't want any other flavors, just tobacco. I hope it isn't like cigar or pipe. can anyone weigh in?

IMHO it is nothing like a pipe or cigar it is a very clean, fresh and unadulterated tobacco flavor ( the way you wanted/expected) a cigarette to taste. i am sure your friend will enjoy it.

VCV is one of the first vendors I ordered from. Night shift, Harvest Berry and Monkey Business. Chocolate pudding was a bonus bottle thrown in.
Night Shift... I can't say anything that hasn't been said already, other than I ordered another 120ml of it last week. ;) That and the Harvest Berry are 2 of my favorite juices. I'm not really a huge fan of the chocolate juices though. The Monkey business and Chocolate pudding are "GOOD", just not my thing. I did add Campfire to my last order though, because there's a lot more to it. I'm hoping the mix of other flavors will take the edge of the extra sweet chocolate.

Thanks VCV! Received a shipping confirmation yesterday for my order from the 13th

This is exciting to me. I ordered the white beard, blue beard, monkey business and vanilla tobacco to try. Much as I wanted to be able to say boba's was overrated, I really like it. So if two of my samples are close to that interesting and good, I'll be very happy.

I tried White Beard at a B&M over the weekend and I was pleasantly surprised. I don't normally vape tobaccoos. I tried the Burley Beard when VCV sent me a Sample and it was not for me, but WB is something I would consider buying. Their website says that everything they use is handcrafted by them including their tobacco absolute. I am just curious what that is and how I differs from other tobaccos if at all. Anyone know?

I never realized how important the process of steeping was until I tried VCV. The first juice I tried was vanilla custard. With some people saying it tastes just like custard, I was disappointed when I tastes A&W cream soda at first (and this was after a week of steeping). As another week passed by I started to taste a full vanilla with buttery, eggy undertones. It is delicious.

Right now I ordered, mewlew's magic, campfire and vanilla tobacco. Instead I received mewlew's magic, campfire and caramel tobacco. I am not sure if I should report it since I hear that the caramel tobacco is better. However, I do remember one reviewer on the VCV website complaining that all their tobacco juices taste "ashy". In my order with caramel tobacco came a sample of burley beard tobacco. I must state that I have not tried them yet since both of them smell ashy. Caramel tobacco smells sweet and ashy whereas Burley Beard smells musky and ashy. As a matter of fact, I store all of my bottles in a office with two other people and the Burley Beard smell is so strong (strong ash smell) I had to wrap it in the bubble wrap it came in and put it in the back of one of my cabinets so no one would smell it. Seriously, the smell is unbearable thus I am not sure if I will ever try it. Has anyone else experienced this?

Mewlew's magic and campfire are definitely very similar. I have also heard the same for Nightshift. The only difference I taste between Mewlew's and Campfire is that campfire has a little burnt ashy flavor, but only enough to notice that it is there. It does not repel my desire to vape it as the tobacco flavor juices. As for the chocolate, yes it is there and robust, but I would not say it is anything like a tootsie roll. If it was I would never vape it again. I really dislike tootsie rolls. However, I have yet to steep these so this info is preliminary, so like the vanilla custard, this may change a lot.

Bryaninaustin, I have sent an email to them regarding how they get their flavors naturally but never got a repsonse. For example with campfire they say "graham cracker". On another site, I have found "graham cracker flavoring" which does have PG, caramel coloring, natural/artificial flavors, etc. So I am wondering how they got this flavor in there without artificial substances. Plus, when was the last time you heard of an all-natural graham cracker extract?

Well, I am not sure if any e-liquid is completely natural and organic. I really doubt it, but for now velvet cloud vapor is the only place I am buying from since I like their vanilla custard.

UPDATE: After some vaping, I would agree with SharonMM, the chocolate flavor in mewlew's and campfire does taste like tootsie rolls. I actually got tired of them after one night.

To me, the Burley Beard had a pleasant smell. I just didn't like the taste. White Beard was really good, however, and I normally don't like tobacco vapes. I ordered a bottle of that after sampling it along with a bottle of Blue Beard.

How they can come up with the flavors they do, I cannot say for sure. If you hear back, I'd like to know, too.

Bryaninaustin,

Unfortunately, according to my records the email I sent regarding their flavor components was from the 27th of August 2013. Not sure if I will ever hear from them. Moreover, the same guy who was complaining about the ashy taste stated he emailed them three times and never got a response. He even went as far as calling their customer service "deplorable". For now, we will have to go by loyalty and faith.

But if they ever do I will let you know. :D
