Wow Im really diggin' the smoothness of 100% VG- vaping nutty cookie rt now and its great. I tried one of my 50/50 mixes from another vendor and the PG felt 'harsh 'for the first time! Yikes! I have a LOT of 50/50 juices so I have to still try to like em at least lol. Oh yeah, and today I got caramel swirl, night shift , harvest berry and vanilla custard...expecting more great results!!(happy dance):toast:

Too much PG (more than 10%) gives me the sensation of vaping carbonated soda or something.. I hate it! For all sorts of reasons..

If it really bothers you that much, but still like those 50/50 flavors, what you could do is buy a "small" bottle of VCV unflavored & mix them with that.. a half-&-half mix would give you 75 VG/25 PG... Flavor would obviously be diluted, but probably still stronger than you think it would be

Can't speak for the Caramel, but your Vanilla Custard will probably need the most steep time.. it's mild at first, but gets stronger & more flavorful after a few weeks...

Has anyone done a mix with Ice Beard and Vanilla Custard? A vanilla mint sounds good to me right now....and those two flavors are my favorites.

When you do mix flavors, what kind of ratio do you use? 50/50 of each flavor?

I've only mixed Ice Beard with unflavored & Sour Skittles so far.. Still too much tobacco taste..

If your Vanilla Custard is steeped enough, I think it would be a better flavor-strength match for the Ice... Sour Skittles is relatively too mild

I've been doing 50/50, but only because I'm mixing for a middle-ground nic strength

I guess start out at 50/50 for a topper-full, and then go from there depending on personal preference

Let us know how it is!

Brave of you to go with 30ml right out of the gate!

I still to this day only get the 15ml when 1st trying a new VCV flavor..

Try 'em on the 1st day.. But both will probably need a little steeping (cap on!)..

Nutty Cookie might need just 2-3 days for more flavors to come out.. but tastes just as described... I think after a few weeks it loses some of its luster, though... Could just be me, who knows

I don't think I'm qualified enough to fully comment on Blue Beard, since I've only vaped a few ml up to now.. But I like it so far.. nice honey tobacco with a mild blackberry finish

Anyway, hope you like! And don't be afraid to try some of their fruit flavors.. I definitely need to stock up more on those

Since I live in Canada and the shipping is a bit more expensive it only makes sense to get the bigger bottle. I got another juice that was a favourite for a lot of other people before and it seems to have worked out alright.

I tested it a week after it been steeping since it was shipped from the warehouse...man the menthol in that blend kicked my .... So I proceeded to think that it was a bad idea...I tried it again yesterdaay (12 days after being shipped from the warehouse...) WELL WORTH THE WAIT.

I'm assuming that VCV all have a steep time of 1 - 2 as well since it sounds like fresh blends?

Or you could always order the 15ml bottles but more flavors.. :D

Yeah, they're fresh blends..

I always try new flavors on the 1st day.. even if it's just a few vapes

I think pretty much everything for me has been better after a few days steeping

And then there are some that really find their groove after 2-3 weeks

Also depends on the shipping time.. I get mine within 3 days after they ship (unless there's a holdiay or weekend in between).. Not sure if there's any delay to Canada, so that would just be an extra steep for you, courtesy of the postal service

If you can dedicate a topper for each new flavor, that's usually your best bet.. vape it, put it away for a day or two, try it again, put it away again, etc.

A lot depends on the particular flavor, how fresh that batch is, your topper choice, and your personal preference...

There's good reason why everybody who has one (or more) loves those ProVarii..

Price? I was initially turned off by that.. Plus at that time I was spending a lot of money on all kinds of juices, and had previously spent too much on those lousy Blu's (disposables, a couple starter packs & a boatload of pre-filled carts)

Eventually I got the black ProVari with blue LED & extension cap.. $215

With so many US/European-made PVs going for $200, $300, $400+ these days, it's no longer that out of the ordinary

Is it worth it? IMO, heck yeah.. Pretty cliche, but you do have to hold one & vape it... Photos & videos don't tell the whole story

Perfect PV? Nope, no such thing.. I've got a couple gripes.. I'd still get another V2.5 in a heartbeat, though

But trying to hold out for a V3 in sapphire or gun metal ZenKote... :D

Lots of people swear by the MVP 2.. I've never used one, but apparently pretty dern good for that price range

Should help you more in quitting/reducing the cigs... :vapor:

Let us know how you like it!

I will definitely let you guys know how it works out when I get it,should be here about the same time my latest vcv order arrives. So far I have about 280ml's of vcv stocked up and again I'm thinking about another purchase....steeping reasons. I honestly can't believe how some of the flavors really come out after a couple weeks. I keep telling myself the more I buy now I won't have to later and I'll save more money

I myself thought of the ice beard with vanilla custard...sounds really good.

Last night I did a 50/50 of white beard and vanilla custard and it's really good but still just a little too much tobacco flavor. I think I may add some more vanilla to the bottle and get as close to a 40/60

Let me know how the ice beard and vanilla is!!

How long have your WB & VC steeped?
The strong grassy notes in WB seem to balance out after a while, and VC's creaminess really comes alive eventually.

Just keep rationalizing it however you want...

At the rate you're going, you'll have more than me soon!

Then you can focus your sights on RuDawg... :D

In all seriousness, I know it's tempting to load up, especially during sales or fear of the vapacolypse or the initial novelty of vaping or whatever.. but speaking from experience, be careful about ordering too much of a particular flavor or three, or ordering too much of a certain nic level...

Right now I'm wishing I didn't have as much Nutty Cookie or Ice Beard as I do.. At one point these were my favorites in their respective categories... However, they've been falling down the ranks as of late

I also wish I didn't have so much 6mg, overall.. Even when I mix with 3 for a 4.5mg, sometimes it's too much & I've been at this level only for a few days! Thinking of picking up some zero-nic unflavored for various reasons, including cutting the rest of that 6 down to 3

With your MVP, you might find yourself needing to cut back on nic level.. Might not happen anytime soon.. then again, it might happen quicker than you think, too
Then you'd have to order even more in a lower nic level to cut with!

I would say the wb steeped for atleast a month and the vanilla custard has been over a month as well. I didn't really detect any grassy notes just a pretty strong tobacco flavor when I vaped it straight last night. Wasn't bad just not my thing so instead of just letting sit around longer I decided to try and make a vanilla tobacco and I'm pretty happy with it.

I see what your saying. I loved strawgawb and harvest berry but since I have found other vcv flavors I find myself vaping the straw and harvest less an less. I have a couple 30ml bottles of both that I know well be steeping for awhile before I get around to them again. The one flavor I have been vaping since day 1 and haven't gotten tired of is ice beard. I just ordered another 30ml of it at 24mg, my logic there is if it's too strong I can bring it down with a bottle of 0mg ib I have that wouldn't see use other wise.

My other reasoning for buying more knowing I may want a different nic level down the road is that I can always buy lower nic flavors and mix them until I get the level I want...and I'll be able to mix them with a steeped juice. So in many ways I'm not too too concerned with the nic level I'm buying right now.

Yeah, you're still pretty early on in the game.. Heck, last I knew, you were still on the cigs!

Assuming it's your intention to quit those at some point.. Then you can really start using that cig budget as vape budget! :D

My post wasn't geared towards just you, but also to anybody else reading this thread..

Even though I haven't had a cig in over 7 months now, I was still vaping at 18mg in early December.. Just 3.5 months later, and I'm already down to 4.5mg & probably needing to drop to 3 -- and not by choice! Decrease in nic levels can happen pretty quickly, have to listen to your body & brain when they start screaming "uncle!".. And to be honest, I was probably at 6 for too long..

Now I'm just scrambling to figure out how to work with my current juice inventory as cheaply & effectively as possible, now & for the next few months, without sacrificing vaping pleasure :)

My intention is to quit smoking for sure. Instead of smoking a pack+ a day I'm down to about 4 or 5 cigs which is amazing for me. I tried this vaping thing a couple years ago with a disposable ecig like blu but it lasted about a day lol. I'm so glad I decided to try this again and I'm even more tankful I found vcv. Like I said for someone that is pretty new on here I have I nice little stash of vcv juice right now but I also have quite a bit of many other brands that just don't do anything for me. I honestly don't like any flavor from any other brand iv tried, let alone vape it all day long. If it weren't for you guys, vcv, and this ecig forum I would have stopped vaping within the first week. So glad I found this thread and vcv...I really can't say it enough.

Good luck with that! Last I counted I was at somewhere around 850ml! And that was at least before my last order.
But seriously, I'm done ordering juice until I'm ready to drop below 12mg, so you have time to catch up!

Well that's plenty of steep time then. Maybe it's just me, even after a good steep I get these grassy notes from WB, which I actually like.
Tonight I filled my IBT with a 50/50 mix of WB and VC @ 15mg. The WB is definitely still dominant. I had straight WB in the tank previously with the same carto, so maybe the flavor is still residing there.

Nope, not with my juice-guzzling iClear 30's & chain-vaping ways...

Just an eye-ball guestimate, but I'm now down to about 450ml

Though it's looking like a 200ml order is in the cards before the week is up...

Nah, the tobaccos just overpower more when mixing with a non-tobacco @ 50/50, I'm finding.. which is why I fill with the non-tobacco 1st.. Not sure how much that helps, though

Wondering if something like a Monkey Business might match up in flavor-strength.. you know, for a tasty chocolate tobacco
