Getting to three still blows my mind, no matter how much I hear about it!
I did some mixing/cutting this morning. Took most of my 18's to 15, and the rest to 12. Once I'm down to all 12 I'll mix to 9 and hopefully get to 6 after then soon.
I think I'd be happy at 6 for a while.

3mg?? 50% too much for me! :D

Believe it or not, only finishing up my 1st week at 2 -- and I'm actually already getting head-rushes sometimes..

I'm being a huge wimp about this.. but after a while at 2, I'll be dropping to 1.5.. then after another while, down to 1

I'll see how it is down there.. might even go to 0.5 before going to zero, LOL

Once comfortably at zero-nic, it will be time to eventually focus on breaking the hand-to-mouth habit, the inhale/exhale habit associated with vaping, the "something to do" habit, etc... I don't mind sitting at zero for a long time if need be.. The nic pleasure-reward association will finally be broken, so at least that part will be out of the way... Another aspect is full-time vaping vs. part-time.. Would be nice to go the whole day without vaping, then maybe vape some zero-nic only at night or even just during the weekends..

In other words, I think getting to zero-nic is only part of the battle.. A big part, but technically the war ain't over just yet..

Anyway, that's smart what you're doing, mixing so you have two levels going at once.. I wish I had done more of that in the past..

Speaking from experience, that 9 is definitely needed! Suddenly going from 12 to 6 was just dumb, dumb, dumb...

Oh yeah.. VCV on-topic... :D

I stopped doing the Campfire Pudding clearo mix.. Been vaping the Choco Pudd (cut with unflavored), which is fine.. but not a re-order for me.. Like I said, I think they have some better desserts...

Campfire is steeping some more.. will have to revisit later...

Definitely near the bottom of my VCV list so far, though... :nah:

Is that their new PG line?

Nope!

They must have redesigned this sometime in the past couple weeks, since my last order...

There's a whole new "landing page" that you're brought to when your order is confirmed..

I copied & pasted that new tweetable "Huzzah!" line.. @SFvapor is their Twitter account (I guess they never changed it from the old days)

In other words, I ordered 165ml of zero-nic -- but it's still all VG... :D

A discussion in another thread prompted me to re-read VCV's email from last week..

I must have missed the part I bolded.. I hope every juice-maker out there is doing something similar..

Here's the email, in case somebody here isn't yet on the mailing list (the discount code was still working as of Sunday night)...

Don't let the FDA take e-cigs away!‏

The FDA has spoken

So here is a last reminder & a discount...

The battle is going to be long and tough. Luckily we have a little more time with the FDA than we do with the state of California. So here is a last word on California's proposed legislation - it's going to be a fight. So is taking on the FDA. So, get ready - because what we do here today... how much we kick, scream and shout - will affect history, and the future of vaping as we know it. This is a seminal moment in our history.

We're giving you 25% off today to raise some awareness and funds to fight! The checkout code is sayNOAB1500 , please use it at checkout at VelvetCloudVapor.com. Unfortunately, the California legislature may just end our ability to sell or buy e-liquid or vaping supplies online. If you head to our site and take part in this sale, you'll notice a banner at the top of the site. If you live in California, please consider clicking the banner and taking action. We will organize against this. Without internet competition and choice, you - the end user - will be harmed. We need to fight.

We're hereby dedicating a large portion of all our proceeds to fighting for your right to vape. More details coming up soon, but we will begin advert campaigns and lobbying missions to Washington D.C. to make sure your voice is heard.

Remember: apply 'sayNOAB1500' at checkout to save 25%. Offer available to everyone, but Californians we beg you to take action and write your legislature!

I took my Vanilla Tobacco to a gathering/party last night for a friends going away. Of course they all wanted to try my Vanilla Tobacco and loved it! I liked it too :D It's been steeping a good three months though.

VCV? Next thing you know, you'll be recruiting them into the Reo cult.. :D

How is it, BTW? (The Reo -- not the cult )

I requested VT or WB as a sample.. haven't had any of their tobaccos in a while, definitely miss some..

Hopefully I'll get the VT.. Otherwise I'll just have to order a small bottle next time because I've yet to try it!

I've been taking Caramel Tobacco with me to work and really like that. Loaded up Vanilla Tobacco the other day and it promptly ran back out of the 30s I put it in so haven't had much time with it. I've got bad Innokin clearomizer mojo or something.

So is the CT more of a 50/50 caramel & tobacco taste, or heavier on one of them?

And what's the best steepage time for it?

I might give that one a whirl sometime...

Mind you my taste buds are a little jacked yet but it seems pretty even to me. Think mine sat in the drawer for a week before I loaded it up. Honestly though, I'm pretty terrible at tracking steep time. Comes in a box, I track down another tank to put it in, then jam it in my face. Then just constantly change tanks to taste. In the midst of our massive VCV sampling I think Blue Beard (tastes like bark to both of us) and Summer Sweet (too subtle) aren't going to be refilled so far.

Yaaay! So glad you like it. I have almost 300ml of it steeping away. I have noticed that at some point, probably over two months, it starts to loose some of its sweetness, but that just brings out a more authentic vanilla tobacco taste. Still by far my favorite!

I ordered the peach tea & fruit cup. The peach tea has almost no taste to it. I put it back and let it sit for a week & a half and it still has no flavor. Has anyone else ordered this flavor? The fruit cup also has very little taste, but at least I can taste it a bit. Is this typical? The nicotine strength is very low (6 mg/ml). I'm really discouraged b/c I wanted to LOVE this line.

Well, I tried VCV and finally my verdict is in. I ordered 6 different flavors, and have had the same experience with all of them. They all don't have enough flavor for me, and none of them stand out. All of the flavors seem almost generic to me.

Monkey Business and Campfire are too similar. I can tell them apart, but they are too similar in that there seems to be only minor differences of a few notes between them.

Nightshift is okay. Vaping it right now in my kayfun lite clone. Like my experience with all the VCV liquids I've tried....it just doesn't stand out.

Vanilla custard - not much of an aroma or taste.

Sour Skittles - I like this one the most out of the bunch. Again, the flavor isn't strong enough for me, but it is enjoyable enough to vape again if it came my way.

All in all, it wasn't the best experience I've had, but it certainly wasn't a negative one. I'd say VCV sits right in the middle between all of the vendors Ive tried, a sort of lukewarm.

This is just my experience :) I'm glad I tried them out though...I love trying out new e-liquids and new vendors....and the one REALLY positive thing I have to say about VCV - I didn't get a single flavor I didn't like. NLV is the only other vendor that I can say the same about .

VCV's are usually at their lowest point in the 1st few days.. Not to say that they're gross or tasteless during then, but they need that time for the flavors to strengthen & meld properly.. So if you're at a week & a half steep on those 2 flavors, you should be fine there..

I think one's choice of topper makes a HUGE difference in tasting flavor strength.. I've tried something like 7 (maybe 8) different clearos, and there's a wide range, from barely there, to moderate, to over-powering... And if a topper is cutting out any particular flavoring(s) in a juice, perhaps because it's more of a subtle note, then obviously that's going to affect the overall taste experience, as well...

One's tastebuds might be playing a role, too.. Depending on how long ago a vaper had his/her last cigarette, their tastebuds might still be changing.. They can go through a series of changes for like 6 months...

Finally, and this is probably a long-shot, but it is possible.. You might have just gotten a bad, weak batch... Out of all the flavors & bottles & orders I've gotten from them (vaping VCV exclusively since January -- and I vape a lot :D), I did get one obviously noticeably weak batch of Catherine the Grape... There was barely any flavoring in it, even after letting it steep for over a month... That one bottle represented less than 2% of all my VCV juices, so it is pretty rare... And I've yet to experience that again, even with subsequent orders of CtG...

Anyway, maybe it's just my choice of toppers (top-coil iClears), but I routinely dilute VCV flavors (for financial savings, for creating a new nic strength, etc.).. Oftentimes cutting them with unflavored for a flavor reduction of 33% or 50%... And while a little weaker than full-strength, I can taste the flavors just fine..

At one point I mixed 14mls of unflavored with just 1ml (if that) of Harvest Berry -- and I could still taste a mild cherry/berry flavor

I guess one's mileage may vary...
