I owned a Cthulhu V2 and liked it so much I decided to order another and Elev8 sent me a coupon so I pick the second one up from them. I received it and when I went to build it I noticed the AFC was extremely easy to move, bump it and it would close or open full. I went to spin it back and found that the AFC ring had a ton of slop (crappy video below).

I used their website contact (after hours) and let them know the tank was defective. By the time I got to work the next morning I received an e-mail from Elev8 saying they would replace the tank or offer a full refund. The only challenged with the replacement would be that I would have to wait as they were currently out of stock.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quick response and possible resolution so I told them I would take the replacement. Once again they responded incredibly fast and stated they wanted to make the experience as "hassle free" as possible. Pretty impressive, their words "hassle free experience".

Now until I receive the replacement the issue isn't totally resolved but I figure I would post this because of the positive experience so far. The CS rep was real nice and they offered to take care of the problem as quickly as possible, and they gave me options.

As I said this was my second Cthulhu so I know the AFC ring is defective, the first one is solid. The video isn't the greatest but you'll get the idea of how bad the AFC ring is on this tank.

I'll post how the rest of the process goes since I asked them to open the one they are shipping to me to check the AFC. I just thought it would be cool to throw some kudos out to an online company attempting to do the right thing. And for what it's worth I picked up my 100W plus from them and it was perfect and still going strong.
