So, it's evident that we have a problem here. EastMall appears to be selling knock off 510 atomizers to dealers and that means that we consumers could inadvertently end up buying counterfeit product. That's not something I want to support. It's important to me that I get genuine joyetech hardware for my 510 setup.

What we need is a list of vendors who currently stock true 510 hardware.

For reference, here's what we're looking for.

A genuine joyetech atomizer:

A knockoff 510 atomizer:

Note that the Titan (Totally Wicked, wide gold band on black), Yeti (Alt Smoke, wide gold band on white), Dura (Janty, thin gold band), Scorpion/White Tie (dietSMOKES, wide red or white band on black) and Versus 510 (Vaporstation, wide black band on stainless, titanium and copper) versions are all genuine 510s with minor cosmetic differences. The way to identify a knockoff is to look down the barrel at the bridge setup and to note how real 510 carts fit on them. Original joyetech 510 carts fit loosely on the knockoff atomizers.

When you list a vendor with genuine atomizers, please make sure that you know for certain that they match the first image above. Also, please post the date of your order. Because EastMall is selling these wholesale, it's always possible that a vendor who had genuine 510s will find themselves with knockoffs at a later date.

I just exchanged a few emails with the Widow today and that was a subject that came up.She is commited to only offering a genuine one. She even emailed me the link from Joye thats already been posted elsewhere about the knockoffs.

Its kind of funny.Seeing a Chinense knockoff of a product isnt unusual. But a knockoff of a Chinese product??? LOL

Is this like how the RN4075 is a Knockoff of the DSE901? Does Eastmall warrantee there atomizers? Has anyone tested these new atomizers to see how they perform?

Inovation is just one product knocking off another...with slight improvements...

I am a noob, but comparing them to my classic style, they do product more vapor and are more consistant...I get the same hit every time.

I have not tried to drip yet...but when I do I will let you know.

Hmm. Just a thought. I bought a 401 and it has a wide mesh band and it is AMAZING. I bought some spare attys for the 401 from a different company and they are thin and wimpy looking compared to the first atty. I would think the wider would be better because it is easy to drip on and it would seem to absorb more (more surface area).

Now i know we are talking about the 510 and NOT the 401, BUT new vs old doesn't necessarily mean bad vs good. Maybe the "new" ones are "better"?? So what i am trying to say is maybe the "knock-offs" might end up being workhorses.

No reason for flames. I've never made an evaluation about whether these variant atomizers are better or worse than Joye's. My issue with them is that they're being marketed as Joye hardware when, according to Joyetech, they're not. I don't have a problem with companies selling them. What I have a problem with is companies selling them as Joye hardware.
