im a 3 year vaper, and just got my stainless telescope mod, and love it, I mean my favorite of all my more expensive mods by far, ive moved away from the big tube mods and took a chance on this, ive moved to lower nic juice finally and vaping slightly less during the day so I wanted something smaller, tougher and well made. So far its more than I could have wanted, however im having a slight problem now as I want just a little more power out of it. im only using it in 18350 mode so bigger battery isnt an option as that would defeat the reason I got it, I would go slightly bigger if it really helped tho i guess. My orginal plan was just grab a Kick and problem solved, however I read up on it and found that you must use it with IMR batteries A and B it cuts down vaping time almost in half due to its saftey low battery cut off, and using just an 18350 to start I dont think it would get me through the day. so anyways right now im using it with a 2.0 single coil carto and liquinator tank if I could just get like and extra .2 or so volts I would be perfect, so just wondering if anyone out there knows of any tricks or things I might be missing, only other thing I have thought of is I guess just ordering some 1.7 ohm single coils but im not sure it will make that much of a difference, my 2.0 im using now may even be 2.2 or 2.3 I havnt measured it so that could be also...any help would be great thanks, Chuck B.

P.S are there any 18 series batterys that are 4 or so volts output?

Hey Cbushey7, I've been using a telescope with a kick for about a week and I have to say it's pretty good. With the kick and a 18350 in it its just a little shorter than using it with a 18650 alone. I picked up the telescope for using it in its smallest "mode" as well. I also felt it was missing something untill I added the kick, it's perfect now for what it is, although longer than i originally wanted. I've been getting about 6 hours out of it using it pretty constantly throughout the day but your mileage may vary. - Hpocus

There are 18650's that output 4.8 volts and you could use a higher ohm atty, but they are only 600mAh. I think a kick will be your best bet, IMO. I love, love, LOVE mine. I'm using it right now in my Silver Bullet with some COV Butterscotch. This is vaping my friend. I've gotten super spoiled by the set your wattage and leave it. I keep taking my 3ohm HH..357 off my Provari and putting my DID clone on it which has a 1.7ohm coil on it and getting errors and thinking "What the? Why is this.....ohhhh....crap, forgot to change the voltage". It is super easy because I have many different atties and stuff in a whole wide variety of ohm ratings. I can swap a 1.5 for a 3ohm and go right to town without any adjustments at all. Just gotta find your sweet spot. Mine is right around 8.5 watts and i'm good to go for the most part, although sometimes i'll kick it up to 9 but I don't like a super hot vape as much as most people.

While it is a bit bigger than the 18350...you can kick a 18500 in the telescope. Maybe that would work out okay? Although it sounds like the kick doesn't hurt the batt life of the 18350 that bad for some users. Does make the 'scope longer of course. So far I've not seen higher volt 18350s....no idea if they are even made. Good luck!

I've used 1.7ohm single coils on my telescope and it does ramp the watts up somewhere close to 8. Worth a try.

Well one of the biggest advantages to the kick is it regulates every drag you take in a battery charge, meaning the first one will be identical to the very last one you take before the battery dies. The problem for a lot of people on a regular 3.7v battery with like a 1.5ohm atomizer is the first drags can be too overpowering because it's firing at 4.1-4.2 volts which is VERY strong on a 1.5ohm atty(a bit strong for me) and then as the battery starts to die it can be too weak. With a kick you can find your sweet spot and change cartos/atties any time you want, keep it the same power level and it is just an all around, excellent vape. I literally use my kicked Silver Bullet more than my Provari these days, it's THAT good! (Note: There is nothing wrong with the Provari, I love love love it too, it's just really easy to switch atties, which I do a lot, without making any adjustments) They're only $45, give one a try!

hmm alright thanks for the input ill probably try the kick at some point I suppose carrying an extra 18350 in my car isnt really a big deal anyways if I end up having to, And I used to love VV mods myself but just kind getting into the smaller sleaker mechanical type mods now not to mention I got the stainless steel telescope with a 3ml steel liqunator and the thing looks killer and is indestructable haha, so ill look into the kick and maybe just try to find some slightly lower res cartos, thanks again
