Hey vapers,
So I know venting of the battery is important but, I have seen reviews where a person was unhappy b/c the connection between the tube/tank was flush and there was no ventilation. I've also seen threads where people state that they want that flush connection. So now I'm a once again confused newb and need enlightenment from a vaping vet.

Thanks!

There is ventilation in case the battery goes bad on a mod - those are holes in the bottom or sides of the case.

Then there are holes that draw air over the atomizer and into your mouth. On some attachments the holes to the atomizer can get blocked by the device if the top is flush and there are no channels to let the air in.

People want a flush connection because it looks nicer - but also want airflow to their attachments.

Oh ok.. so if it's flush, then the air holes should be somewhere else by design, to allow for this airflow? Or will it just be a bad day?

Here's some nice pics to help maybe:

You can see the tank siting flush on top:

You can see the top section has four channels cut into it for airflow to the atomizer.

On the bottom piece there is one hole to allow for safe ventilation in case the battery goes bad.

That page has me curious...

A lot of mods have no top ventilation.

I never intend to stack batteries, but people do, so it seems something to be very conscious of. I'd never thought about a battery swelling and blocking the vent.

I do know pressure vessels are nothing to be messed with or underestimated.

Any idea if with an rba I can flush it ?

Hey, that's my thread and my pics! :)

I suppose it depends on the RBA. Here's an AGA-T2 on the iSeason; it fits absolutely dead-flush:

I also have an IGO-L RDA, but it doesn't fit flush. That's a function of the threads on the IGO-L, though, because I've never seen it sit flush on *any* device. I honestly wish it did because it's a great little dripper.
