I have a Google+ image of it but the URL won't format correctly so pics are forthcoming. But I did 10 wraps around a 1/8 bit of 26 Nichrome in a vertical build on my TOBH clone. It's on a cotton cloud, filled with JuiceMafia Canela. It's the best build I've done to date, more vapor and flavor by a good margin over the previous builds on this thing. The nice thing about the verticals is I can put them out away from the tabs a little so the airflow is directly in front of them. I know this isn't some groundbreaking build but just wanted to share my experience of which I'm proud :) I'm still a novice builder so it took a good 45 minutes for me to get this thing set up but in the end, soooo worth it :)

PS, I know the picture isn't great but if you see any room for improvement, I'm all ears. I take criticism well :)

I have vertical coils in several RDAs, but have never used Nichrome. I absolutely love the flavor in one of my Tugboats using a .8 vertical dual build, another one that has awesome flavor is my Magma OG and Clone with .5 verticals and air wide open, the tugboats air flow is perfect as is. I don't entirely subscribe to the You have to have adjustable air flow for flavor theory, granted it can help, but I feel for me a conical reduced chamber, the right build, the right amount of cotton, generous deck and well, and right amount of air is the ticket for me,
from what I see if your digging the flavor and the vapor you got an awesome build.

Oddly enough, this setup seems to be losing steam, no pun intended. I'm on day 3 with it and it just doesn't seem as potent as it was at first. Going to switch out the cotton tonight I think. Another thing I've noticed? This thing just rages through juice. I can't believe how much I've gone through since building it... might just go back to a more conventional setup if it means I'm going to go through half the juice, lol.

Sounds like your coils are just getting gunk build-up on them.. a quick wick change will have you back where you were. If you haven't tried less wick on deck, I would, looks like you have it packed in deck.. I've found I get more run time between wick changes using as little cotton as possible out of coil. The juice thorough out the extra wick gets heated, and it ends up getting dark and gross faster.. which ends up on your coils.
