Very Excited to Be Getting Into Vaping, A few Simple questions though.

I just got my first personal vaporizer today. I bought a DSE801 and have been really enjoying the carts that came with it. I have read multiple guides (Including the wonderful guide to vaping" and tried following several other tutorials, but I can't seem to find an answer I am looking for.

I am curious as to how the cartridges work. In one guide I read that the filling should be sanitized, in another it just simply needs cleaned and dried out, and I am starting to get a little confused. I know I am going to buy some empty cartridges and I want to be able to take care of them and myself.

Basically I want to know what the recommended action is to re-using carts. Do I simply remove the filler and clean it as well as the shell and then dry it and add what liquid I want? If so, is it technically good until I wear it out such as that tip getting loose? I also read something about a blue foam and saw a video. What is this blue foam and where can I get it, if you can link me I'd greatly appreciate it. Basically if I understood right it would be a good idea to get blank carts and use this blue stuff and clean it at least once a week as I run out of juice.

I haven't personally used the blue foam in my carts, but many people on this forum do, and I'm sure will be happy to help you with that. And yes, the carts can be rinsed out (I use only hot water for this) and the filler material can also be rinsed and reused. I don't actually use anything to dry my carts, I just let them air dry. The filler can be reused numerous times.

Welcome! Yea, just rinse out the filler in hot water, rinse out the cart the same way, dry them both and refill. It's easy. Here's what the blue foam looks like.... you can get it at any pet store that sells aquarium stuff it's called "Rite Size U" and it's really cheap.

BesthThingEver pretty much summed it up for me. I just got thrown off when I read one saying to sanitize.

I was in the maintenance section, but was a little overwhelmed at the moment. Maybe I should tread there now.

Hold the phone, you're saying that the fluval crap can be substituted for the poly! Maybe I should've dun a 'lil more homework cuz I got like 5 packs of that lying in wait to be used in my monster aquarium. Guess I'll use one of my extras lying around, also need to clean my aquaruim filters too. Dual purpose ftw

I only rinse my carts between filling. And I use a new piece of the blue foam daily. Got my blue foam on ebay for almost nothin.
