Very hard draw on some KR808 cartoz

I just received 2 packs of cartomizers. One pack was fine but the other was very very hard to draw. Feels like it kinda plugged up. No air flow. Suck on it like a maniac and still get very little vapor. Anyone else experience this?

Like I mentioned above, the other pack of cartoz were just fine.

sometimes you can get them screwed on too tight, try adjusting the tightness/looseness

also look at the bottom, does it have slots?

Are you running a manual battery? If so.. take a look at the connector end of the battery and see if there is a groove cut across the center "pole" of the battery. Then look at the cartos that are giving you problems. Do they have a groove cut across the center "pole" piece? If the answer is no in both cases.... then you're not getting any airflow! One or both of these pieces must have a cross groove!

Been there, done that. Yes, I checked for slots and they are identical to the ones that draw beautifully, nice and easy. Held them side-by-side. One of the first things I checked I was the slots. Makes no difference if screwed on tight or loose. Tried that too.

<putting my glasses one and checking again> Yep, identical. I'm getting a wicked headache trying to suck some vapor out of these. It's not working. Will have to put them away. I emailed Drew about it but was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem?

hmmmm, honestly I can't remember if I have or not, at least with new ones. Refilled, yes, and I threw them out. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

You da man!!! Didn't look INSIDE. They do NOT have the groove across the center like the other ones that work do! Too weird... why would 2 packs be different?? Been giving myself a stroke here...

Yeah, the kr808 factory went back and forth on slots and no slots on the cartos. I'm guessing that since they went with no slot on the manual batts that all the *new* cartos will have to have slots. Your unslotted ones should work fine on the auto batts, but you probably figured that out by now

I can't explain why you would have "mixed lots"... and I'm sure that Drew will fix this for you. But... if you want to use those carts I'm pretty confident that a thing called "the staple mod" will work for you.

I only have manual bats and the PT is manual too. I will look up the staple mod...
