Ahhh, I had a V2 for about a week before I was looking at ego-c kits. It was good and my gf still uses it but it didn't have the battery life or all the accessories I wanted. I'm using the ego-c twist with mini vivi nova clearos now and couldn't be happier. Those pre filled carts can be refilled as long as you don't burn em. It took me burning 2-3 till I figured out when to stop. Lol.

i ordered the v2.... i dont know whats good or not. i didnt know there was so much to this stuff until i looked around on here a little bit!

I know what you mean! It can be overwhelming at first. Especially the terminology. I've been reading on here for 3 straight weeks and am still learning! Stick with it. It's worth it.

V2 is ok to get going, if it does not seem to be working, dont give up, while they work they arent the most fulfilling way to go.
next you can order the cartridge blank and try any of the 100"s of wonderful flavors we use. from there you can always step up to something a bit better.

but welcome to ECF and good luck!!!

The main thing is that you are trying to quit and in my humble opinion vaping is the best chance you may get.

After 30+ years of smoking and many times trying to quit, vaping has given me the best chance of succeeding. I started 2 weeks ago and when I am out and about I still use my starter kit batteries and a refillable cartridge.

You found a great resource here at ECF for your vaping questions and needs.

Good luck to you and have fun with it - vaping is fun and SATISFYING!

ahhh thank you. i will have to look into those. my main thing was i wanted something that was going to resemble a cig to help with the transition at this point :) hopefully i will really enjoy this and get into it!

Seems to be the way everyone transitions. My gf still uses the V2 like I said. She knows mine is 'better' but she doesn't like the size. She likes the mini's. Nothing wrong with that. Just gotta charge and fill more often.

SpookshowBaby ...

Good show taking that enormous step to quit smoking.

In any new venture or endeavor, you may hit bumps, the new lingo can seem quite overwhelming at times. Just ask, ECF members are always more than willing to help referring you to exact sources to your questions. A rocky road now and then, but persistence will ALWAYS pay off in the end.

Hi! Im looking to quit smoking and have heard a lot of people quit when they turn to e-cigs. since all the other ways ive tried to quit didnt work, i thought i would give this a shot. i ordered my first kit today and it should be here in 5-10 days, so we will see what happens!

congrats spookshow, i found the first few days using my ecig helped keep the craving for a smoke at bay ,ya just take a few puffs on the ecig and try not to over do it on day one........lol. i also put half a pack of smokes dated in the back of my freezer so the panic of no smokes on hand wasn't gonna stress me out........
there is tons of good info here so.............read up and good luck to ya.

Congrats on your purchase and step into vaping rather than smoking.

I quit using V2 so it's possible. Their prices are not good so I went elsewhere for my gear/juice and that is a rabbit hole that hasn't ended but I still haven't gone back to cigarettes.

It may not blow you away at first but stick with it, we'll all be here for you if you need advice or encouragement.
