I think this is the very first time I have ever told anyone NOT to vape and to smoke cigarettes if you had a nic fit. It felt strange to tell you that! But it is not worth risking another reaction. We are always on the lookout for the type of symptoms you had and if we find them, we waste no time treating it. I am glad you have made an appointment to get it figured out, and I hope they are able to give you an answer.
If I remember right I believe I read somewhere that VG is sometimes made of coconut and palm oil, are you possibly allergic to one of those?

I don't believe so, but I am not sure. Hopefully the doc can help shed some light.
Question for you guys.. If I find out that I am indeed not allergic to Pg or Vg, and it is something in the flavoring(which I am sure will be much more difficult to identify, and screen from vendors) are Naturally Extracted Tobaccos which have no flavor and sweetener a good route to take??
I know several people who vape unflavored simply because that is what they like. You can just buy from the DIY shops and save a ton of money since you won't have to buy from vendors and pay them the money to mix a few flavors for you. Depending on what nic level you are, you will be able to buy a big old bottle of unflavored and add PG or VG to really easily get it to the level you want. You don't necessarily need to get NETS, just the normal base.
I get mine from "My Freedom Smokes". An example of how much you can save? You can buy 24 mg, 60 ml for only $5.95. Of course you can buy more or other strengths of nic, and get it in whatever PG/VG ratio you want. It is dirt cheap compared to fancy vendor juices, and if you sign up for their newsletter you can catch it on sale. I like theirs because they are only one that sells NicSelect, and their factory is FDA approved and inspected and the company's nic is used in the patches and gum etc. plus they give you links to their testing reports.

I have an aversion to something vendors put in juices, my throat gets that funny feeling with a certain sweetener as well as PG so I just make my own DIY now using things that I don't react to. And save a bundle in the process!
So all is not lost, just temporarily on hold
