I find this very disturbing and can't help but wonder what is up and if anyone else has had anything like this happen.

Hey Jules.

I find the format of contacting you a bit wrong. But after reading it, I'm just wondering if it's an issue that they just want to discuss rather than a major problem. They were probably told that they can reach anyone who works for/at V4L through here.

Guess we'll have to see what Steve or Mark or Val etc have to say.

They said they were a supplier at the forum but wouldn't give their company name, only a first name. Also said I had been at their factory. That doesn't sound like someone only wanting help or info.

It sounds to me like this person works at the factory V4L buys from and thought you worked for V4L. It may just be an innocent mistake. But... you never know what people are up to these days.

I'm not sure who they were. When I asked what company they worked for all they gave me was a first name. After the recent credit card scam that went on I'm really leery of things like this. Had I not been leery in the past, my card would have been hit. They tried but I had already canceled that card.

Thanks MaryKay! I did have my Yahoo username in my profile but it's not there anymore! And yeah, a lot of questions. Why wouldn't they give me their supplier name or username if they are on ECF?

As far as I know Leaford is the only one that is over there. So why did s/he contact me? Jules is a far different name than Leaford and I don't have a supplier user title. I should have just let her go on to see what was up. It just really bothered me.

me too, I got 801 soft tips today and they work and 901s work good but you have to file them down, but I don't really want to add any length, bout to take pliers to one and add some rubber bands lol

Jules, do you have your Blog entries marked to receive email notifications, I just checked mine and they were set to "received email notifications"....I reset it to "no email notifications"
Maybe yours aren't set. Click on your name, view blogs, and then go to the little "gear" looking thing, blog control panel, reset your notification preference.
