Why would you think that PG would be needed to carry the flavor? Some people only vape 100% VG. I'm pretty sure that the flavor is still there. I vape 80% VG, 20% PG. Same flavor as if I mix up 60% VG and 40% PG. As an example, if there is 15% flavor in a given base mix of VG and PG, there is 85% of the base. If the base is VG and DW, there is still 85% of the base. Really shouldn't matter.
I cant have any PG at all. Wish I could. Most flavoring is based in PG.

Have u tried making ur own? I tried but havent made anything I like. Right now am DIYing coil and wicks - need to order some more flavors and try again. I know u can get pg free flavors.

I am vaping Johnson creek raineer now. I am fine on it and it is OK. I dont love it tho. I got real spoiled before the allergy. Altcig has the best juices IMO.

I guess I must have misunderstood. I wasn't thinking about PG in the flavoring itself. However, there are flavorings which don't have PG in them. If not stated in the description, you could always ask the vendor if they sell non-PG flavoring. I find DIY to be a lot of fun, like a mad chemist or something like that. I have made some great tasting ones and some real 'duds' too. Man, I hate it when I have to pour nic juice down the drain!

Thank you. :)

Lori - was reading something else on this site and found a list of VG suppliers - you may already know - but if not - here it is:

BTW - the chocolate tobacco from MT Bakers is good. I will add an extra shot of flavor next time - hoping to try the others this coming week. I am not sure if it had no PG - you should confirm with em,. Your hubby may like it though - if he likes chocolate....

Around sporadically so I just saw this.

BethAnn, the reason you need to up your fluid intake while vaping is that the PG and VG and the typical sweetener (sorbitol) used in e-juices are all humectants. They absorb water from the atmosphere. In this case that atmosphere is your mouth, throat, lungs, and other mucus membranes. Basically you are the source of a lot of the vapor you exhale. That's not so bad if you only vaped for a minute or two, but the more you vape the more moisture you lose. Used in hand lotions in humidity conditions of less than 65%, VG actually pulls moisture directly out of the lower layers of skin and into itself, giving the allusion that the top layer of skin has been hydrated. Oh, and here's a fun fact for you, VG left out in the open can actually absorb it's own weight in water over the course of 3 days.

Sorbitol?

Hmmm... Haven't heard of too many people using that in e-Liquids.

Does it go by any Trade Names?

You're right zoid, thanks for the catch. For some odd reason my brain decided sucralose and sorbitol were the same thing, or interchangeable, or... something. Changing it now.

Vaping is dehydrating because PG is a humectant..."sustains a state of dryness." If you were vaping long & hard you need to be drinking water. I vape 100% VG juices because I don't want or need PG. VG creates the vapor, PG creates the throat hit. After 10 months of vaping both my husband & I believe we have developed sensitivty to PG so we eliminated it totally.

Buying 100% VG juice does not ensure that you are getting 100% VG. Some vendors use flavors that are extracted using PG so you are still getting very small amounts.

Have you tried Virgin Vapor? Her flavors are organic, 100% VG, no PG unless you ask her to add it. She even has a line that is alcohol free. Amazing flavors, I have tried about 19 of them & juice is packaged in glass dropper bottles so you even eliminate the plastic chemicals leaching into your juice.

I posted this before. Everybody agrees to drink more water and I don't argue with it. Keeping well hydrated is a good thing no matter what but I really don't see how we can loose all that much water from the amount that is in the vapor that's created by robbing us of a little. Is it that we don't actually see most of it?

I think you might be on to something, more WATER....lol

If you get the Evod BCC tanks, they bottom fill and the coil on the bottom is changed when needed... it does all thick liquids and eliminates the filter material from the cartos...worth trying, they are reasonably priced and the bottom replacements come in bulk. They do not change the flavor of you juice and produce plenty of vapor at low voltage (3.3- 4.0)
