JMHO but I think its worth having the flavouring in PG - unless you have an allergy to it...

I use 'pure' VG (99.7%) - then VG based nic, and the teeny tiny amount of PG flavour is just enough to thin it out so it trickles through the cart a bit better. I have tried the same with PG nic (so more PG essentially) and cannot taste the difference so I DOUBT you'd taste the small amount of PG in the flavouring.

That's a good point, never thought of it that way.
I am having a large bottle of 99.9% VG delivered from a laboratory supplier to use for my juice so I would need to thin it a bit anyway.
I notice PEG only seems available in bulk from USA as everyone in europe uses VG, but since I was only really wanting to try it out that is not a problem.
I have been vaping for less than a week and I am still experimenting.

As soon as I saw the comments (on ecf) about VG vs PG etc I went straight for the VG, seemed nearly everyone was going for at least a 50/50 mix so I thought I'd just get a large amount of VG to last me (500ml £6 delivered) and then get my nic etc cut with PG so the measurements will be easy anyway. It works for me but I know everyone is different!

Since then I've gone for a few nic's with VG just to get even more vape, but really it doesnt affect me. The only worry is if you get a really bad throat from PG (I thought I did but was a bad atty!) or any other allergy from PG. Looks like I'm ok so I'll stick with my mix as it is.

You're not too far from where my sis used to live, she's in stonehaven now.

I think its much better and cheaper to do it diy, I went straight for diy because I like to do things myself anyway. Plus it's nice to experiment!

I only had one bad accident with chocolate, I put too much nic in a strawberry mix and it tasted horrid so I added more VG and then added loads of chocolate flavour to counteract it, the 30ml bottle is still sitting on the side! I think I'll vape it in an emergency, theres £5 of nic+juice in there I dont want to throw it away! Lol.

Anyway good luck and happiness in your vaping :)

I am planning to try a rum and coke mix at some point, but yeah I'm buying 52mg/ml nicotine and mixing it down myself for my juices.
So far I have tried cappuccino, vanilla, cherry and cherry vanilla but have other stuff arriving soon.

Someone should make a Sunny D & Rum...lol (check youtube if you don't get this)

What was the cherry vanilla like? I know its objective but what does it taste/vape like?

I've done:
Strawberry
Bergamont (a type of orange)
Lemon
Chocolate
Apple Pie

Out of all of those my favourite is strawberry and is my all day all time vape. Weird as I never really liked 'normal' strawberrys. I LOVE chocolate but can't stand it as a vape!
Apple Pie tasted vulgar, but I have a friend who loves it like I love my strawberry (she's indian so I don't know if there is a link between what you eat and what you like to vape..?)

I'd like to try cappucino and cherry vanilla, I tried some vanilla on its own (admittedly it was vanilla extract from my baking cupboard lol) and I didnt really like it. My mother-in-law got cherry and I tried it when I put her pv together for her, its 'ok' but not my sort of thing. I just made her up some 'tropical' from Lemon and Bergamont mixed so I'll ask her how that went! (LOL@Tropical! I wrote it on the bottle as well, just that, is it bad to laugh at yourself?)

Mmmmm strawberry...

Also, what PV do you have? Peeps say the riva 901 (which I have) gives much more taste that the 510 which gives more vape and heat... so it might be like different flavours suit different pv's etc... I dunno..just a thought!

It's hard balancing the cherry with the vanilla since the vanilla is a much stronger flavour - the stuff I mixed was very satifying though with an initial hit of vanilla on inhale followed by a subtle cherry undertone and persist.
Unfortunately I only had PG mix at the time so it was not as velvety as I'd like but I will remedy that soon.

I ordered some AV rum once and it smelled so much like a mixed drink that I just set it aside and forgot about it. When I was low on juice one day, I filled a cart and tried it. It was actually very good and didn't vape like it smelled. I was expecting an alcohol vape and it was much more smooth.
