I don't like either alone. 18mg nic in PG alone made my tongue sore - it does little to buffer nicotine's skin irritation. 100% VG dulls TH, irritation and flavor while adding more vapor.

I like US juices and they are usually available in at least one PG/VG blend ratio if not more. My preferred ratio is 70pg/30vg

I'm not really into RY4's but I like the old sweet one at FreedomSmokeUSA called oRYental 4. FSUSA also has RY4 but that is a non-sweet one. They have an RY5 I have never tried. I also felt in an old way that Tasty Vapor's Peach Melba which has a much darker flavor tone than I expected, reminded me a bit of an RY4.

You could also check out Backwoods Brew - a great place to find all-day tobacco vapes and they do have an RY4 though I'm not real familiar with it.

70/30 is my preferred ratio. Pg/VG.

For more TH, I just crank up the volts. I used to use everclear, but I got drunk one night doin that, so I don't really use it anymore. PGA is fine in small amounts, just be careful. I was trying to make 100%VG mix wick right in a CE2 and just kept adding PGA until I got drunk. But it does add strong TH moddifier faster then PG does.

VG is thick bug gives good vapor production. Both PG and VG are good. I have been experimenting with ratios and 50/50, 60/40 have been working well. The 60/40 is thinner and helps with the wicking without having to thin it down with distilled water. Also using 5 volts on a standard atty OR an lr atty at 3.7 volts helps with vapor and flavor.

Think it's a question of taste and testing. Personnaly, I'm not able to vape pure PG, too much hit for me and my lung. Best for me it's 100% VG, I love it. The taste it's a bit less but you got far more vapor. And if you have problem with the wick, just add a little 5% to 10% distilled water.....

But like I said, taste are different for everybody....

As everyone else has said, pure PG is something most would avoid. Even if you have no physical problems from it, I personally just get more satisfaction from the fuller vapor a little VG adds.

That said, I do find TH crucial. That harshness is something I couldn't live without, so I never go over 30% VG. 70/30 or 80/20 are how I order my juices. Of course when I was smoking cigarettes, I was a throat hit fiend. For kicks a buddy (who smoked ultra lights) and I would switch and laugh at each other while I kept checking to make sure mine was actually lit and he would bend over coughing his lungs out.

It's all about taste and depends on the actual flavor of the juice, but from anecdotal evidence, the vast majority of people care what the % are, prefer something between 60/40 and 80/20.

I myself started with 100% pg and even as a 23yr smoker after a while it was to much on my throat switched to 50/50 was ok but just didn't click with me . I bought a 100% VG flavor of apple pancakes lol dripped in a regular 510 atty was good vapor light on my throat and I personally found the flavor production to be great. I then used it in a 2.0lr cartomizer and wow! great vapor smooth taste light on my throat I LOVE VG now and yes in some carts I also thinned it with water as mentioned above.

**all were and still are in 24mg strength I don't use anything less I need the strong dose of nico**

IMO: pure VG juice will clog your gear, but makes great clouds. The VG will mute your flavors a bit however. Pure PG juice is really thin, and can flood your gear. Some people say pure PG has a stronger throat hit, but I don't think so personally. It does allow the flavors to come through better than VG. I say 80% PG, 20% VG is a nice mix. Pretty standard mix for most US vendors. I always ask what blend they use as a base before I buy, it's good to know.

It's totally a matter of preference. A lot of people are sensitive to PG, but it gives you a nice raw flavor and a harsher throat hit. I think that VG is sweeter and kicks out a crapload of vapor, but any VG based flavor that's a little dark will clog up your attys and carts, gunk up your heating element coils, and make you have to dry burn really often.

juices like Dekang that are 80%pg seem to work out ok, and kick out plenty of vapor, but they're a little bit too harsh, and juices like Madvapes Top Vapor that are 80% vg really gunk up coils, and they tend to wick in a very odd way causing my ce2 cartos to gurgle, and they don't flow well in regular polyfil carto's.

All that being said, My favorite is 50/50. Perfect TH, awesome flavor, and plumes of vapor. I first made the discovery of 50/50 when I was experimenting, and I mixed half 80/20 and half 20/80 ending up with 5050 and it turned out great. All of the samples I'm getting from FSUSA are 5050 so we'll see how those work in regular cartos and ce2's when I get them in a couple hrs.
