I have been vapping now for little over two months, a lot of vapping (15ml or more daily)
I cannot tolerate much pg so I mix my juices at around 90/10 vg/pg. USP vg also.
I work for a utility company doing service calls all day, so I am in my GMC pickup for at least 8hrs a day sometimes more.
I no longer drive with the window cracked a few inches. I have been noticing an oily type residue on the Windows that I have to clean off about every 3 weeks or so. Its noticeable when the sun hits the Windows just rite, and really noticeable at night with all the headlights.
When I clean it off, there is nothing as far as dirt on the white paper towel, it just seems to be an oily type substance.
I know vg technically is a skin softner. I have been having to clear my throat a lot lately.
I'm just wondering in the longevity of this vapping is it healthy.

I wanted to update the time of noticing the residue on the windows.
Since I started this thread 5 days ago, I now have residue on my windows again. It's bad enough where I have to clean them again.
I never had this problem with cigarettes this quick anyhow.. I don't mind cleaning them, but as far as just water vapor on the exhale it Is not true. Water vapor does not put an oily substance on surfaces.

I've been vaping about 1 year, 3 months. I quit cigs totally in March of this year. I've noticed the film on the car windows also, and I still have a raspy sort of voice, even after quitting the analogs. And yes, I wonder about the long term effects, too. But, I love vaping, and it's the only thing that helped me quit. A friend of mine told me that some people just have a greater oral gratification need...he he.

Mikecup - it is not just the vg. I run 80/20 pg/vg and have the same issue with the windshield. That stuff is a ..... to get off too. I was vaping w/windows up but now I crack the drivers side and aim vape towards that. I am hoping it will reduce the need to clean the windows as much. I have noiticed it is also getting worse in the colder weather. Maybe the temp difference helps the vape cling to the winshield. It was not as bad in the summer months.
