Finally got the missing peices, so I can now really experiment with all my Cyclone stuff.
- Factory BF Cyclone with Black AFC and Black Chaplin tip
- Chowderhead/Catfish modded BF Cyclone with Fusion tip

So - yes, the first obvious glaring problem:
I only have one REO.

OK - the question:
The pin length is different between my two cyclones.
First use, the new one made a connection and I was vaping it - then noticed it was a bit off the deck...

I since screwed it down, it went flush. Then I switched to the other one, and it still connects.
What's the deal? Is there just a slight "range" or does the REO pin travel a little, or what?
I'm just getting used to the REO and don't want to permanently depress the pin or something by screwing "too far" with the longer one.

The Reo center pin has a small amount of travel, as the soft gasket inside slowly gets squeezed as contact is made from the atty center pin. There is a small amount of give. Do not over do it or the gasket will get permanently crushed (bad). Generally you just want to snug the atty on and then turn it just a little bit more (if required) to get the air hole roughly either towards the firing button or away from it depending on how you hold the mod. If there is a gap, try different thickness o-rings to put in there and help support the atty, you shouldn't need to go thicker than a 1.5mm or 1/16" o-ring. If a 1/16" o-ring is not thick enough then the center pin on the atty is too long.
