video clip how to needed

tried to use some video clips ..just not getting anywhere !
copy and paste or drag and drop all no go . the clips are from my camera uploaded to my computer .
I also have "videopad editor and magix movie edit pro .
uploading to youtube ? there must be a simple way to do it.
is there a step by step instruction somewhere ? which will work for the new ecf forum ??

Generally, those clips are going to be too large to upload directly to ECF. It would be better to host the file elsewhere and then link it within your post.
