I never said anything about blaming the vendor. I was just sharing a thought about the value of others posting what they like and didn't like...lol

The only take away from threads like this is they don't end well for the OP.
It as though no one can ever say they don't like a vendors juice without being smashed in the head by someone who thinks they have the biggest hammer and wants you to know how WRONG you are for disliking what they apparently do like.
Yet at the same time preaching how taste is subjective.

I bought some samples from VV and NO, I don't remember what the flavors were.
(IMO) they were all disgusting so I scratched them from my list.
That's what samples are for.
Same with AiV- tasted like a lot of hype over nothing.

Last thing I want to do is get into a virtual argument with someone who doesn't buy my juices for me!

I think, as ScandaLeX stated, taste is very much subjective. I also think juice is a fickle beast. A few of the most orgasmic juices I've ever tried were from Virgin Vapor, though I learned they had been steeping for 6-8 months. 8-o

Freshly mixed, some of VVs flavors can seem very sub-par, even bitter, though I don't believe this is the case for the entire menu. Over time they turn into something out-of-this-world. The taste is very clean, pure, and often so intensely satisfying you'd never want anything else. But it's really hit or miss. I've even ordered the same flavor, at the same ratio and nic content, that tasted very blah compared to other bottles I've received that were AMAZING. I recommend asking for extra flavor at checkout, especially for the larger bottles.

Final thoughts? Virgin Vapor delivers exactly what they say. Clean, refreshing, very true-to-taste flavors using UK Organic/USDA certified ingredients. I am a fan and shall continue to be a fan... however I've recently been looking at other vendors to try different flavors, specifically NETs @ 100% VG. It's good to diversify and my collection certainly needs it.

I'm not arguing "for or against" in the slightest. Just stating my experience with this vendor. YMMV.

Steeping.....and why it doesn't work for all of us.

I think people often forget there are folks who don't have a clue what any of this stuff means.
The entire vaping world isn't here on ECF.

I'm NOT remotely interested in buying juices that require steeping for several reasons.
I want to vape right now- not a month or 2 from now.
Now I know some genius will say to have plenty of juice in my arsenal.

I supply juices for 4 people; myself included in that number.
Steeping is a long process I don't have time for.
This is why I make it my business to contact a vendor prior to purchase.

I cant afford to guess whether the juice is vapable out the box or not.

I just noticed that the Organic Kona Velvet Milkshake is pre-steeped for a minimum of 2 weeks before they ship it out to you (that's one of the flavors I ordered). It was shipped to me 8 days ago so at this point it has steeped for a minimum of 3 weeks. I think I'll let it sit another week and revisit it. That would be a full month. I really hope I find it vapeable by then. I so want to love this because the description sounds wonderful.

I'm usually so good about letting my juice age but curiosity was killing me so I put a little of the Kona Milkshake in my mini protank and I wish I had curbed my curiosity. lol So the top goes back on and I will put it to the very back of my bottles and will let it sit for a few weeks for sure. I think I'll give it at least a month (cuz right now it's definitely going to need it). I'm keeping an open mind folks!

I know it's bad form to quote yourself but I wanted to give a little background. Well, I just tried the KVM again and it has improved tremendously. It's like a completely different liquid. It's definitely better than it was but I'm hoping it hasn't achieved its full potential. It has mellowed a lot, almost to the point of being a little too mellow. I can't stress enough though how much it has improved. So I'll give it another 10 days or so and give it another whirl.

I just felt that because I had such a negative response to this that it was only fair that I come back with an update.

When I first began vaping I only had ordered tobacco flavors from the company that I ordered my first e-cig from.

Someone told me about VV and suggested I try Hunger of Persphone and Lemonade.

I KNEW nothing about steeping or such things. I tried them both and they were OK. Not having much to compare to at that point..
I did like them better than tobacco flavors. Of course that led me down the path to the fruit flavors that I love and use now.
I have gone back and retasted the above two flavors and although they are not my ADV I still enjoy them sometimes.
I like to mix the two together.
Also I ordered some sour cherry from another company and it tasted like cough medicine but adding the lemonade to it fixed the problem enough where it is now vapable.

I do have to jump on the band wagon about VV.
My first and last order from them was quite awful. It literally made my wife gag. I contacted them about it and they offered me store credit which I probably could not give away. Smell wonderful, taste like packing peanuts with sweetener added.

There are a lot of great juice vendors out there folks, this is one to pass on.

Oh man... someone gave me a bottle of VV coffee juice. I think it was 2 months steeped. It smells so bad. I tried a little and its just... nasty.
I was concerned because at the time I had some Velvet Cloud Vapor and Orb on the way (natural/organic 100% USA made) and was afraid they would taste similar. Happy to say they neither smell or taste like VV! Muchhh better.

I have some Velvet Cloud and I like them a lot more. No Worries

They are expensive, but for me their best juice Thai Mango

I got some Thai mango soon after my Easter holiday in Thailand???I found it tasted awful! but having read the threads here about leaving it to steep, I might give it another go as it's been sitting in my juice cupboard for a few months.
I initially bought their organic blueberry bliss and I loved it! though I subsequently found other flavours from other vendors. I got my blueberry bliss out yesterday and popped in my Immortalizer dropper- WOW, it's even better!
Can't recommend it enough.

Hmmmm.... There was one VV flavor I found really intriguing, Drunken Pirate Pudding. It sounded like a good Christmas vape. If the problem is too much alcohol, then maybe I should order it now and it might be ready to vape in time for the holidays ;)

Any comments/opinions on this flavor?
I just finished letting it mature for a couple of weeks and I'm vaping it right now. :) It's absolutely delicious! It tastes just like the description, warm plum pudding, and the rum flavor is outstanding. The flavor is really spot on. I'm getting a 30ml bottle in my next order.

Air it out for a day or two to let any alcohol evaporate and let it mature for a couple of weeks. Warning, when you open the bottle you'll want to eat it, drink it and bathe in it, lol! This is the best smelling e-liquid I've ever had. It's definitely a new favorite from Virgin Vapor.

Virgin Vapor was the first eliquid maker I ordered from online. Before that I had only had the crap local headshops were selling and my 7's menthol cartomizers which I liked. Luckily now there are more custom juice operations popping up in the area though.

I like blueberry bliss, singing the blues blueberry, peach, and watermelon. Their banana fosters is pretty good too but not one of my favorites. Menthol moon drops I tried because I was a menthol smoker, but it was so strong if I drank anything I felt like I had just brushed my teeth. Caramel and butter cream mint for sure took some steeping. I didn't like the butter cream mint but that is due to my tastes not the juice being bad in any way. In the sampler pack I first ordered from them I had gotten some banana is tasted just like the bananas in runts to me and I loved it. I ordered a bigger bottle later on and it tasted like crap. I've had it sitting for at least over a month now and it still sucks. I think some people truly have gotten bad bottles. I finally placed some orders with vcv, tpr, and ahlusion. Already got the vcv and I wouldn't say it is better than vv. VV tastes cleaner to me but I am only vaping the absolute virgin line.

I'm a new convert to Virgin Vapor, and am actually in the process of ordering more at the big Halloween Sale. (Anybody who doesn't hate the place might be interested to know that all juices will be 20% off today.)

:)

Thus far I've really enjoyed Strawberry Shortcake, and absolutely love Kona Coffee Milkshake.

French Vanilla and Bella Amaretto are already in my cart, along with Double Espresso and Chocolate Chip Cookie. What else is especially yummy?

If you like the real thing, Precious Pecan Pie. It's one of my favorite special treats. You must let the juice air out for a couple of days; the aroma is very alcohol heavy. I added flavor to my last order just because I can't keep it long enough to steep (by the end of the little bottle it was a little too sweet).
